As storms battered the Irish coast on January 6, local man John Murphy was checking the road to see if he could get a truck to his mussel factory near Bantry in Co Cork. He was accompanied by council man Jimmy Griffen, when a massive wave swept them up and, luckily, dumped them a short distance down the road. Credit: Gareth Murphy
