Former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden, is making headlines in Brazil. In a letter addressed to the "Brazilian People", published in a leading Brazilian newspaper, he offered a helping hand in an investigation into U.S. spying there. The NSA has reportedly monitored the communications of Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff. White House Spokesman Jay Carney had this to say on the latest Snowden affair: (SOUNDBITE) WHITE HOUSE SPOKESMAN JAY CARNEY SAYING: "There has been no change in our position. He has been charged and accused of leaking classified information, he faces felony charges here, he ought to be returned to the United States, again, where he will face full due process and protection." Snowden's letter was also published in English on the Facebook page of David Miranda.
