ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: The first winter storm of the year swept through the southern parts of Sweden on Thursday evening. Roads were blocked by falling trees, vehicles were overturned, houses were without electricity, and trains canceled. A truck overturned on a motorway north of Ystad. The Oresund bridge linking southern Sweden with Denmark was shut at 1500 GMT. Some railway lines in southern Sweden were also closed. High winds were expected to continue until early Friday morning in the south and heavy snow was expected in areas further north.
