Bilateral talks between South Korea and China. Top of the agenda is expected to be China's recent declaration of an air defence zone over disputed territory in the East China Sea. The zone is particularly sensitive because it covers a group of islands, known as Senkaku in Japan and Diaoyu in China and claimed by both countries. China's move was criticised by South Korea during the meeting. (SOUNDBITE) (Korean) SOUTH KOREAN DEFENCE MINISTER SPOKESMAN KIM MIN-SEOK SAYING: "We proposed China's declaration of its Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ) on the east China Sea as an emergency agenda. Our vice minister Baek clearly conveyed our government's message that expresses strong regrets and demands rectification regarding the matter." Japan and the U.S are critical of the move.
