Jamie Oliver may not be the most influential chef in terms of culinary innovation, but he is certainly impacting a great amount of people through his efforts to improve the lives -- and diets -- of young people. In recent years, he launched a well-publicized campaign against processed foods in meals served to British and American schoolchildren and has also established a charitable restaurant chain with an apprentice program that employs underprivileged youth. With a restaurant empire around the world and lucrative endorsement deals, the TV chef has the means to do pretty much whatever he wants. But to his credit, he's trying to make a difference.
