Of course, no list of Harrison Ford's finest work would be complete without Indiana Jones. It was the series that gave Ford a fedora to finally look the part of the '80s cowboy icon. It was also the role that defined his grumpy action hero persona. After all, what other character would end a sword fight with a gunshot and a disgruntled look of indignation (an infamously improvised moment thanks to Ford's onset bout of diarrhea that made a day of sword fight production impossible)? No one. Indiana Jones simply wouldn't exist without Harrison Ford -- and possibly vice-versa. What would Raiders of the Lost Ark have been like if smiling mustache spokesman Tom Selleck had played the role, as initially planned?
