FATHER VERSUS SON - TERRI MIDDOUX VS ZIZOU MIDDOUX In the history of the African Punishment Wrestling Association, no other split-up has been more personal or more tragic than that witnessed in latter 2011, when The French Connection ended four years of tag team legacy in a sour implosion. The separation devastated a family relationship. The same fans that had clamoured to see father Terri Middoux and son Zizou Middoux dominate in successful defences of the APWA Tag Team Titles for nearly two years, were left heartbroken and in shock. The seemingly unbreakable bond between father and son was shattered - and for reasons only known to "The French Monster" Terri Middoux, who coldly denounced Zizou as his son, a traitorous act that would normally be associated with Terri's past devious ways. Going beyond any prior rules of engagement, the 2011 King of Africa winner unleashed an even bigger monster, this one more greedy, more hungry and more destructive. It seems that Terri was sick and tired of being "the good guy".
