Rock n Roll TV gives you the rock news with brevity and levity! Eddie Van Halen donates guitars; Kid Rock apologizes for lighting up and Rihanna doesn’t; Madonna reveals new name and No Doubt is hacked!

Eddie Van Halen has donated 75 electric guitars from his personal collection to the Mr Holland’s Opus Foundation, a non profit organization that supports music education in public schools across the country. Per Eddie’s request, The Foundation will distribute the guitars to music programs in public schools throughout Los Angeles where there are not enough instruments to meet the demand of the students.
“If I can help a kid discover a liking, or even a passion for music in their life, then that’s a wonderful thing. Music has provided a good life for me and hopefully it can help make life better for others with this donation.”

Kid Rock apologized for lighting up a cigar at a smoke free Travis Tritt show in Detroit and on the opposite coin, Rihanna was photographed puffing on a  suspicious looking cigarette in Hawaii and went on Twitter to brag about its cannabis content. Ohhhh. Really? A pop star who smokes weed? How dangerous.

E street guitarist and Sopranos star, Steven Van Zandt will play a mobster again in a new Netflix series – Lilyhammer.

Legendary guitarist and famed hunter Ted Nugent is putting his name on …. wait for it… bullets. Pierce Ammunitions will start producing Nugent branded ammo in the next few months and they will be available for purchase by June of this year.

No Doubt and Rise Against have had their Twitter accounts hacked by followers of Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul. Both bands found tweets on their accounts endorsing the libertarian politician. Fortunately, both acts caught the fake tweets quickly and pulled the messages down and set the record straight stating they do NOT support Ron Paul.
Meanwhile.. No Doubt confirmed their long awaited new album will come out this year.
