I'm Joslyn Davis in Hollywood and this your Best of 2011 countdown from the world of Harry Potter. 2011 marked a big milestone for the famous franchise, which came to a close in July, with the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. However, the talented cast allows the legacy of Harry to live on through various new and exciting projects and accolades. For example, in January, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint went down as Forbes magazine's highest-grossing box office on-screen couple in the last decade. Emma Watson also enjoyed success in her own right winning multiple awards for her stylish choice and announcing that she would be the new face of Lacome. Daniel Radcliffe took some time in 2011 to grace the Broadway stage in New York City, starring in "How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying." Tom Felton received a well-deserved honor when he took home the MTV Movie award for Best Villain for his portrayal of Draco Malfoy in June, but at this point in the year, Harry Potter fans were concerned with one thing and one thing only -- and that of course was the pending release of the franchise's final film in July. Leading up to the big release, each new poster and trailer heightened the fandom's bittersweet excitement, especially following JK Rowling's June announcement that she would not be writing another Harry Potter novel.
