The Holiday Sweater Song from justin on Vimeo. My biggest project to date. Between finding two girls who would make out, begging and scratching for 'holiday sweater' sing-a-long segments, and running all around the NYC area for shots that would only take up a handful of seconds, this was an action-packed week. I was inspired to take on something a bit bigger after a conversation with David Lehre of "Myspace: The Movie" fame. I asked him how he accomplished all the biggness he had in his clips - he said he just writes a list of everything he needs and starts hitting the phones. I made my list, hit the phones, and viola, it worked! I feel ready to take on the next big project now. I've proved something to myself - and of course, I could have never done anything without the help of Steve and Jared. They're my ROCKS. Cast: justin

This music is from the guy who gave me the tattoo. He's pretty brilliant. The concept for the potato is from the children's book Sideways Stories from Wayside School. Returning to San Francisco. I'm originally from Wisconsin, so we don't get things like giant deathly tornado wind storms that shred our towns apart, so it was an interesting experience. About a year later I got a call from someone at the Discovery Channel who was making a special about normal folks documenting disasters. They wanted to use my footage. I think this may ... no ... it must be the longest time since I've released a video blog. My entire experience here in NYC has gone without an official vidblog. It's sad since we've had over 30 people stay with us at one time or another, and so little of that I caught on film. I guess my excuse was that I was already making so much video at work, that I didn't feel the need to do anything more. I regret that decision somewhat. It HAS been extraordinarily busy as of late, but I'm going to do my best to keep up from now on. Even if it's just recording 10 minutes a week, that'll add up to something nice in the end.
