SPOS #77 - Six Pixels Of Separation - The Twist Image Podcast - +1 (206) 666-6056 - Jared Spool Talks Website Strategy
from Six Pixels of Separation - Marketing and Communications Insights Podcast - By Mitch Joel at Twist Image November 11, 2007
Welcome to episode #77 of Six Pixels Of Separation - The Twist Image Podcast. There is a great conversation with Jared Spool from User Interface Engineering that happened at PodCamp Boston 2. Along with that we've got a brand new Greenfields Report from Ireland. I babble on about my speaking event for Google at the Googleplex, and there are some great audio comments too. I think there are some worthy discussion points including twitter versus Jaiku and who will use these best - Marketers or Public Relations practitioners. I also should mention that I forgot to talk about my amazing dinner in California with Shel Holtz (and his wife, Michele) from the For Immediate Release Podcast. I will discuss that next week. In the meantime, enjoy this conversation... Here it is: Six Pixels Of Separation - The Twist Image Podcast - Episode #77 - Host: Mitch Joel. Running time: 50:04. Dispelling Videoblogging Historic Myths
from Tao of David October 15, 2007
Contrary to some misinformation about videoblogging in 2004, here are links to the first videos I posted online from February 2004. I had originally written on the Vlogumentary Wiki that I began posting video in March of 2004. I was off by a month (which has now been corrected). I ve been posting online video ever since. My original website that these were first posted on is long gone. Thankfully, Archive.org still has it in it s cache. I ve rehosted the original videos here on this site. St-Paul Cat Show Ohmie s first show in St-Paul, MN. 1.16 Dock Dogs Even in the middle of winter, Minnesotans know how to keep their animals in shape. 2.06 Lullaby Kitties Bahkti and Bessie Mae dreaming away on a Saturday afternoon. 1.04 Twin City Cat Show Part 1 - Part 1 of the Twin City Cat Fanciers show where Ohmie won some ribbons. (Sorry for the camera shake. Didnt have a tripod with me) 3.06 Twin City Cat Show Part 2 - Part 2 of the Twin City Cat Fanciers show where Ohmie won some ribbons. (Sorry for the camera shake. Didnt have a tripod with me) 3.27 Hockey Lea and I at the Minnesota Wild vs Vancouver Canucks game. 1.37 Granted, these arent good videos by any means. However, they are there to stand the test of time and act as a reminder to myself with how far I have come with online video. Boston's Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market
from Steve Garfield's Video Blog July 19, 2007
Located near the Government Center T stop on the Green or Blue line is Boston's Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. Lots of shopping and food choices are here including Durgin Park, Union Oyster House and Kingfish Hall. The Union Oyster House is the oldest restaurant in Boston and the oldest restaurant in continuous service in the U.S. — the doors have always been open to diners since 1826.

I'm on the cover of Wired Magazine
from Vimeo / stevegarfield's uploaded videos June 27, 2007
Wired magazine looks awesome with me on the cover! Although unfortunately, that's the only issue I'm on the cover of. They had an ad campaign with Xerox that allowed you to send in a photo and be on the cover of YOUR home delivery issue. I can't image that I made it on any other covers, but who knows. I'll keep my phone line open for calls just in case... ;-) Here's a scanned image of the cover: http://www.flickr.com/photos/stevegarfield/638989209/ Cast: stevegarfield
