Dos cabezas, sonidos en espiral, e interesantes colaboraciones que hacen estallar al mandril que todos llevan dentro. Algunas de sus influencias van desde Air, Pink Floyd, St. Germain, Dave Brubeck, Zuco 103, Talvin Singh, J.G. Esquivel, Morcheeba, hasta Radiohead, entre otros. El sonido de Sr. Mandril fusiona bossa-nova y acid jazz con beats prendidos y suaves como house, lounge, ambient y down-tempo. Su trip tiene toda la onda para caminar en el pasto durante el verano soleado o bien acostarse y descubrir las formas de las nubes. El Festival de Jazz de Montreal ha sido testigo de su cautivadora propuesta en su versión 2007 y 2008. Con participaciones en más de 6 compilaciones, y dos discos de estudio, recibimos al Sr. Madril con su última producción independiente Terragroove.
