The Making of Flagpole Sitta, the Original Office Lip Dub from Jon Feldman on Vimeo. About a year ago, we made this video ( http://vimeo.com/flagpolesitta ) just after moving into our new office. This fun after-work video project unexpectedly went on to get 1.5 million views, was written about in the Washington Post ( http://tinyurl.com/4m325s ), the BBC ( http://tinyurl.com/3b7yy8 ), and elsewhere, and inspired many other offices to make their own lip dubs (which you can see at www.officelipdub.com ). Amanda and I happened to take footage of Jakob as he blocked out scenes and prepared everyone for the shoot, which we did in one long shot on the first take. For those who enjoyed the finished video, hopefully this footage will show some insight into Jakob’s creative process, as well as how much fun it was to make this.
