from YouTube :: Tag // music April 11, 2008
BANG-BANG "THIS IS LOVE". The video comes and goes here on YouTube, but here is the audio. ABC - The Look of Love (Club Mix)
from YouTube :: Videos by Techno2004 February 22, 2008
ABC was formed in 1980 in Sheffield, England after Martin Fry, a music journalist, interviewed the band Vice Versa for his fanzine Modern Drugs. They adopted Fry as lead vocalist and changed their name to ABC. The revamped band were pigeon-holed as part of the New Romantic movement of the time, which included the likes of Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet. In the next 12 years the band released six albums and charted 10 top 10 UK singles and 5 in the US. ABC split up in 1992. Fry resurrected the ABC name in 1997 for the album Skyscraping, a collaboration with Glenn Gregory and Keith Lowndes of Heaven 17. Although ABC hasn't released a new album since 1997, the band has toured extensively and performed live on various other occasions, such as the 2001 Night of the Proms, where Fry was supported by a 72-piece orchestra and 50-piece choir. Lyrics: When your world is full of strange arrangements And gravity won't pull you through You know you're missing out on something Well that something depends on you All I'm saying, it takes a lot to love you All I'm doing, you know it's true All I mean now, there's one thing Yes one thing that turns this grey sky to blue That's the look, that's the look The look of love When your girl has left you out on the pavement (goodbye) Then your dreams fall apart at the seams Your reason for living's your reason for leaving Don't ask me what it mean Who's got the look? I don't know the answer to that question Where's the look? if I knew I would tell you What's the look? look for your information Yes there's one thing, the one thing that still holds true (what's that? ) That's the look, that's the look The look of love If you judge a book by the cover, Then you'd judge the look by the lover I hope you'll soon recover, Me I go from one extreme to another And though my friends just might ask me They say "martin maybe one day you'll find true love" I say "maybe, there must be a solution To the one thing, the one thing, we can't find" That's the look, that's the look The look of love That's the look, that's the look The look of love That's the look, that's the look Sisters and brothers Should help each other Oh, oh, oh Heavens above That's the look, that's the look, hip hip hooray, ay That's the look, that's the look, yippee ai yippee aiay That's the look, that's the look Be lucky in love Look of love Author: Techno2004 Keywords: ABC 80s Martin Fry Synthpop NewWave Top10 Club Dance New Romantics Added: February 22, 2008

Gazebo - I Love Chopin (Club Mix)
from YouTube :: Videos by Techno2004 February 18, 2008
During the New Romantic era of Spandau Ballet, Ultravox, Talk Talk et al, Italy's Paul Mazzolini, began his recording career under the name Gazebo. Mazzolini, born on February 18, 1960 in Lebanon, was the son of an Italian diplomat and American singer, traveled the world as a child and studied classical guitar in Paris before writing and recording "Masterpiece." This gained Mazzolini popularity in Italy and, after recording a self-titled debut, his fame grew throughout Europe and small pockets of North American influence, especially with the release of the campy song, "I Love Chopin" (which went to #1 in Italy and in eight other countries). It was a popular song in dance clubs and on alternative radio station, CFNY. Unfortunately, Gazebo never followed up the massive success of this song, although though he did cover "Dolca Vita," a song he initially wrote for fellow '80s Euro-pop singer Ryan Paris. SomaCow 114: Get Your Fiddle, Nero!
from SomaCow January 11, 2008
SomaCow Media, Inc. is proud to present SomaCow, brought to you this hour by The Sports Buzz. Check out Ryan and Todd as they run game all day. New podcasts available every Sunday! In this hour, we were joined by Ryan, prodigy and heartthrob though he may be. He did a decent job of helping us to forget our man-boobs long enough to talk about some serious sports, and we are all the better for it. Ryan gives us some insight into what made him into the man he is today, and we enjoy some discussion on The Really Large Game. You ll get to meet him as soon as Mickey finishes, An Incredibly Detailed Introduction Involving Far More Than You Cared To Know About . I shouldn t attack Mickey, as he is sad enough now that his beloved Steelers have fallen. Mickey, who left his heart, half a lung, and most of a bologna and ketchup sandwich in Pennsylvania, insists on the power and beauty of . J feels that the Amsterdam Rapscallions will trounce all comers in the upcoming ballgame of foots. I, personally, heart the Jags, but only because I don t know no better. We take out our aggressions on cheerleaders and prom queens in general, in an incredibly angry segment I may make into a weekly bit, namely, Whores All Of Em . Honestly, sound off if you disagree, but I find that cheerleaders are a little too much like a pert piece of trailer trash egging on her lunkhead boyfriend as he beats the piss out of another lunkhead in the parking lot of whatever watering hole they are gracing with their presence that week. Hey Hey, Ho Ho. Exactly. We shouted letters to the following great bands: The Dark Romantics - Another Song for Another Night Cesium_137 - Flight Sullivan - Florida Queen

123 - 11/25/07 Bobby Blackwolf Show - Rock Band, Mass Effect
from The Bobby Blackwolf Show December 02, 2007
This was recorded seven days ago - unfortunately due to health issues and technical issues (both pretty much resolved) this was delayed much longer than expected. This will not be a habit. Expect the December 2nd show to be released on Wednesday to get things back on track. In this show, we give our impressions on Rock Band - what works, and what doesn't. We also give advice on calibrating the lag to get you more lenient timing windows. The Romantics are suing Activision for their cover in Guitar Hero: Rocks the 80's. Do they have a case? We also talk a little bit about Mass Effect. Jeff Minter, designer of Tempest and Space Giraffe, almost gave up on gamers until the booze wore off. We take calls about Xbox Live Arcade in general and more on the Wii shortages. We have been nominated as Podcast of the Year in the 2007 Xbox Community Awards, and voting is going on RIGHT NOW at Gamertagradio.com (not starting on the 8th as the audio states.)
