A report examining the health behaviour of 16-24 year olds in New South Wales has found the number of young people who are overweight has remained steady over the decade up to 2007. However the number of young people who are obese -with a body mass index above 30 - has increased significantly. The largest increase in obesity was among young women - up from 2.7 per cent, to 9.9 percent.
