Bellevue teachers remained on strike Thursday while negotiations continued at the school district offices. Negotiators appear to be far apart on salaries and benefits. But they are citing some progress on addressing teachers' concerns over the district wide curriculum. KUOW's Amy Radil reports.

Transicion Canal Gran Via (Via Digital, ONO, Quiero TV), seguramente en su penúltima etapa, sobre el año 2002, momento en el que estaba presente en las 3 plataformas; despues de la fusión éste canal sólo se vería a traves de la cablera ONO y desaparecería el 1 de enero de 2005 debido a que Sogecable, propietaria de la cadena en ese momento, pedía una cantidad desmesurada de dinero para seguir ofreciendo el canal. Entre otras exclusivas, Gran Vía tuvo los derechos para españa de Wimbledon, Masters Series, emisión de la Feria de San Isidro, JJ.OO. Sydney 2000, Mundial de Futbol de Corea y Japón 2002, además de distintos acuerdos con majors cinematográficas. Aunque nunca llegó a superar a la competencia más directa, Canal +, esta cadena ofrecía contenidos de mucha calidad y en los datos de audiencia ofrecidos por TNSofres, siempre se posicionaba a la cabeza de las cadenas de TV dentro de su plataforma madre, Vía Digital. El logotipo en esta etapa consistía en 4 bolas puestas de mayor a menor tamaño, y se usaba el mismo logotipo en sus 3 canales: Gran Via, Gran Via 2 y Gran Via Cine (en GV2 en su mosca venía puesto un 2, y en GVC una C). "Whatever Gets You Thru The Night" is a song on John Lennon's 1974 album Walls and Bridges. It was Lennon's only American solo number one song until the posthumous hit "(Just Like) Starting Over" in 1981. The recording featured Elton John on backing vocals and piano alongside the Muscle Shoals Horns. While in the studio, Elton bet Lennon that the song would top the charts, and such was Lennon's skepticism that Elton secured from him a promise to appear on stage at one of his performances should the record indeed hit number one. When the record did achieve that feat, Lennon appeared at Elton John's Thanksgiving performance at Madison Square Garden on November 28, 1974.
