Chapter 21- It was finally Friday, the day that Hannah had been freaking out over all week. She had taken Kelsey shopping and got her hair done. It was out of control. The two were sitting at Hannah's house. Kelsey was watching videos on the TV, while Hannah walked around her house pacing back and forth. For this to be convincing, she had decided it was best that her and Stephanie came along for the ride. Stephanie had finally stepped downstairs. She had on a long flowy midnight blue dress. She looked absolutely stunning. Her and Kevin had become close on the last week and a half since Nick, Kelsey and Hannah all had school. They had gone shopping and had intimate dinners. She was in on the surprise tonight, so she was excited to call this their first serious date, she only hoped that Kevin felt the same way. The girls all stopped what they were doing when they heard a honk come from outside. The three girls walked to the door and saw a black limo waiting for them. Kelsey took one look and turned to look at her friend, who was walking slowly down the steps and towards the car. Kelsey followed her and was actually surprised when she saw the Jonas boys sitting inside. She hadn't talked to Joe since the day after soccer practice. She sat down next to him, looking a bit suspicious. Everyone was being in silent staring out the window, so Kelsey decided it was time to break the silence. "Since I'm the only one that has no idea what's going on here, would someone like to fill me in?", Kelsey asked. Joe noticed that she sounded a bit annoyed, but tried to rub it off. Kelsey had always hated surprises. "We are going into the city", Joe whispered to her, since Stephanie and Kevin were in their own little world and Hannah and Nick were acting bitter that they even had to be here. "Oh", Kelsey said. She smiled up at Joe. She didn't know what he was attempting to do, but she loved that he always tried. The rest of the ride was silent except for a few questions here and there. Finally, the limo arrived at a fancy looking hotel. Kelsey recognized it eventually as Trump Tower. She was starting to get excited as she followed Joe and the others into the elevator. Joe and Kelsey stepped onto the roof of Trump Tower. There was a place set out to sit and an acoustic guitar. Kelsey just smiled. Hannah, Stephanie, Nick and Kevin watched them walk out and when they were far enough away they shut the door to the elevator and rode down for their own dates. Kelsey could tell that there was no one walking behind her, so when she turned around and saw no one she wasn't surprised. "They knew you wouldn't come if it was only with me", Joe said. They sat down on the blanket laid out on the roof. Kelsey sighed. People could read her like a book. "Well, they were right", Kelsey said. Joe laughed. He had one chance to get this all out and make it sound sincere. "Kelsey, I can't even imagine what you have gone through since that day, but I can tell you what I went through. The day you broke it off, I broke down. We were in the studio and I took your call and once we hung up, I started crying. I had to pull myself together. I finished recording, but Nick and Kevin could tell there was something wrong with me. We got home and they were like, dude let it out in a song and I did. I know you are not a fan of ours, so I'm sure you have never heard the song and I wanted to play it for you", Joe said. Kelsey smiled, hearing Joe sing was always something she used to love. She remembered the countless times they would go up to his room and he would sit with his guitar writing just random lyrics. "I would love to hear you sing", Kelsey said. Joe smiled and grabbed the acoustic guitar to the side of him. He hadn't played the song acoustic in a long time, so he hoped he wasn't rusty. When the words started to pour from his heart, Kelsey's mouth dropped open. Walked across the crowded street. Sea of eyes cut through me. And I saw you in the middle. Your upset face, you wear it well. You camaflauge the way you feel, When everything's the matter. We've all been down that road before. Searching for that something more. World's spinning 'round. [AN: Oh, how the tables have turned!!!] Chapter 6- The boys drove on the highway. They sat looking out the window at the familiar scenery. They were home. They passed the Welcome to New Jersey sign and Joe got an idea. He told the bus driver to stop the bus. The three boys ran over to the sign and took a picture. They thought about how awesome it would be to put that in tonight's blog when they updated. "It's kind of nice being home", Joe said. Kevin and Nick gave him confused looks. If anything they thought Joe would have the hardest time being back in New Jersey. "I guess, we just have so much back in LA, it's going to be hard to be away from friends", Kevin said. Joe and Nick both nodded. They understood where Kevin was coming from. Leaving LA was just as hard as the when they left New Jersey. Leaving behinds friends was never fun. The bus pulled up to a hotel. "Ok, looks like we aren't going home", Joe said. "Boys we are staying in a hotel, but when we come back in two weeks we will be staying a house", Mama J said. The boys nodded their heads and got out of the bus. Of course, there were girls waiting for them. They smiled, took pictures and signed autographs, then headed up to their hotel rooms. The next morning Joe, who was still asleep as always, was woken up by and lot of bodies jumping onto his bed. At first he freaked out because he thought somehow fans had made it past Big Rob, but when he focused he saw Mandy, Maya, Frankie, Nick and Kevin all sitting on his bed. He sat up and gave Maya and Mandy hugs. How he ad missed these two while he was in Europe, it was good to be home. "Hi", Joe said. "Hey, how are you?", Mandy said. "A bit tired, but you know", Joe said. Mandy ruffled his hair and the five of them left the room, so that Joe could get ready. About a hour later, they were headed out to eat, of course it was almost impossible in New Jersey, but the boys loved being home and seeing face that they recognized from 2005. They smiled a lot that morning, but when they got back to the hotel it was time to pack up what they needed for the show and head out to the venue. When they arrived they saw all the fans in line, this is what they lived for. Kelsey POV We stood in line, almost at the front. We arrived pretty early this morning due to Stephanie. I was drinking coffee when I saw the tour bus pull up. I almost dropped it, but held myself together in the best possible way. I couldn't believe I was going through with this. Why had I gotten myself in this situation. Around me scream erupted from tons of girls. I pulled Hannah down to my level, so that she could actually hear me talk. "What row are we sitting in?", I asked her. "We are fifth row from the stage. They won't be able to see, but we are going to be so close", Hannah said. She leaned back up straight and started screaming again with all the other girls. I joined in after a second, I knew I should be having fun. It was only a hour and a half that I would have to see his beautiful face and hear his amazing voice. "Stop thinking about him", I thought to myself. Ugh. Today was going to be long. We stood in line for hours, but eventually it started to move. We walked into the venue and found our seats. 45 minutes till show time. I sat trying to prepare myself. Around me girls were screaming their heads off while I sat with my head in my hands. "Breathe Kelsey", I thought to myself. I took deep breaths, but when the lights started to dim. I stood up. Demi Lovato entered the stage. Her set was amazing. I realized that 2 Worlds could definitely end up being my new favorite song. It reminded me a lot of me and Hannah. She walked off stage and about ten minutes later the Jonas Brothers walked on stage. There he was right in front of me. I couldn't take my eyes away. The television and internet never did him justice. He was beautiful. I looked over at Nick. How he had changed. I realized that I missed them, but everything had changed and nothing would ever be the same. When the set ended I felt like I could finally breath again. "What did you think?", Hannah said. "They are amazing performers", I answered. "Great, I'm glad you think so because the radio station gave me backstage passes", Hannah said.
