Dérapage. La censure du site du mouvement islamiste Al Adl Wa Ilhsane et ses leaders, Cheik Yassine et sa fille Nadia Yassine marque un nouveau tournant dans l’attitude des pouvoirs publics vis-à-vis de la liberté d’expression et de publication sur internet au Maroc. Aujourd’hui, le pays multiplie la censure sur plusieurs sites. Après le Polisario et le site Anonymizer, c’est le tour du mouvement islamiste. Ces faits confirment cette tendance lourde de la volonté de mettre la toile marocaine sous haute surveillance. Le summum du paradoxe est que la décision de censure a été prise alors que Marrakech accueille la conférence de l’organisme international «ICANN» en charge de la gestion des noms de domaine et de la gouvernance sur internet!! Cette nouvelle décision de censure est d’autant plus préoccupante qu’elle ne se base pas sur aucun référentiel juridique ou légal. Le Ministère de l’intérieur s’est contenté seulement de remettre à Maroc Telecom la liste des sites «indésirables » pour les bloquer. De ce fait, le web marocain est devenu tributaire du pouvoir discrétionnaire des pouvoirs publics, puisque demain tout site est éligible à la censure du moment que les règles du jeu ne sont pas claires. Le risque de voir la liste des sites censurés s’élargir, donc, n’est pas à exclure.
