Iran needs to understand that we do not live in a perfect world and that whatever we give comes back to us. Comments by Israeli officials should be seen in the light of Iranian threat to eradicate Israel from the world map. No one in Israel would be interested in kidnapping Ahmadinejad and no Israeli likes war. But then what can be done to ensure the security and viability of the Israeli state, surrounded by rogue bodies bent on destroying it. It must be understood that the Jewish state of Israel is not at war with Hamas or Hezbollah that are pawns of Iran who is responsible for the funding, creation and arming of both the terrorist organizations. The world should understand that no amount of territorial concession by Israel, be it in west bank or Gaza strip, can wipe out the Iranian desire to annihilate Jewish state. Japan may withdraw military from Iraq Very soon Japan too will join the list of countries that supported operations in Iraq at one point of time and pulled out since. The withdrawal is probably one of the reasons for decline in the spate of violence within Iraq. Now, are policy makers in United Kingdom watching the trend? The presence of American and British forces in Iraq has so far only exacerbated the bloodshed in the country. Iraq no longer requires foreign troop presence to uphold democracy. As long as the Iraqi government was calling for political and military assistance there was a moral obligation to provide it. Now with things normalizing Britain should leave Iraqis to mend for themselves. Ensuring a running thriving democracy within Iraq is their problem Britain should stop acting like a godfather to them in state affairs. Prime Minister Gordon Brown must recall the troops from Iraq immediately before the British electorate votes him out next year. Crime within Mexico hitting a new high Crime within Mexico is hitting a new high each day. This in spite of government efforts to scale down violence through deployment of 36,000 troops within the country. However, one thing that could turn the tide is public frustration. Recent march by nearly a 100,000 Mexicans throughout the country registers a strong protest against the protracted epidemic of violent killings, kidnappings and shootouts. At least it would pressurize the government to strengthen crime fighting efforts. Ordinary Mexicans can t move around freely without of being robbed, looted or even killed. Mexico needs to discipline its faltering police force. It is notoriously famous for its alliances with the drug gangs and extorting money. The authorities should immediately push reforms and purge the corrupt police officers. Mexicans should continue expressing their frustrations with greater vigor until the out-of-control drug cartels and shameful kidnappers preying on innocent families are subdued.
