State legislators and staff members were having drinks after a committee meeting in the Tri Cities. State Representative Jim Dunn said something he now regrets. He offered to buy a drink for a female staffer so he could take her home. As a result Dunn has been stripped of committee assignments. Now his lawyer says Dunn is being discriminated against for exercising free speech. When is an inappropriate remark grounds for disciplinary action, and when isn't it?
