The Jazz Dancer es una pieza creada ad hoc para la exposición This fucking Jazz music Rocks, comisionada por 90º (noventa grados concept store). Esta pieza trata sobre la dualidad repetición - improvisación como camino para crear algo nuevo. Mientras el Jazz se sirve de la improvisación, en esta pieza me sirvo de la repetición. Y ahí está la confrontación: al utilizar precisamente elementos del mundo del Jazz y someterlos a una repetición mecánica. De tal forma que pierden su esencia original para convertirse en mimbres de una pieza totalmente diferente. Tanto las imágenes como la melodía pertenecen a un vídeo de archivo de Jazz de 1941.
