A Los Angeles company is selling cards to send to imprisoned loved ones.

This is a project put together by several professionals in the photography and video production field. The idea came from the inmates in 2006, this is the second calendar they complete. The money raised is used for the benefit of the inmates. This project took place inside a jail complex in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Detention facilities in the Philippines are far behind what we see on highly industrialized countries around the world. But what makes the difference is that, wardens who are managing the jails here are open to "NON-VIOLENT APPROACH TO REHABILITATION". Gearing on personality development, team building, coordination and discipline this unorthodox approach on rehabilitation teared the walls between the offenders and mainstream society. The positive end result is that confidence is built upon the inmates so that going back to mainstream society upon release will be seamless. Further, offering new and brighter opportunity and may yield better possibility that the inmates will not go back to what have brought them behind the walls of jail. Why I choose the video above (among the CPDRC Dancing Inmates videos) is because you can clearly see the high level of confidence manifest from the performing inmates.
