I saw An American Carol and ... IT WAS FREAKIN' HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!! Noticing the mostly negative reviews of it, I decided to voice my own opinion, and here it is. I apologize for my speech impediment and extremely geeky voice. Here are also a few reasons to see An American Carol: 1. The ACLU are flesh-eating zombies who try to hammer down a 10 Commandments display and abolish a security search 2. Professors at Columbia University perform a musical number about how they're no different than hippies 3. Rosie O'Donnell is even crazier than she is in real life 4. It gives support to our men and women in uniform 5. Skewers pacifism 6. It's David Zucker's funniest movie since BASEketball 7. Features cameos by Bill O'Reilly, Kevin Sorbo, James Woods, and Paris Hilton (hey, where's Chuck Norris? He's conservative, right? How'd he not get in this instead of Paris?) But, back on August 28th I did not imagine that Obama would shortly be smeared as a pedophile, that McCain would pick an unqualified running mate, that this running mate would distort her and Obama’s record and be allowed to get away with it for days on end, that the media would accept this unqualified running mate being sequestered from public questioning, and that fake charges of sexism would dominate the news for days. Good God, the market place of ideas seems to be broken this September. Fear not, there are better days ahead. I hope. Thanks Pauline.
