Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen caused another security alert when he stormed the catwalk at Milan Fashion Week. Cohen interrupted the fashion show of designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada in Milan making it onto the catwalk dressed as his Austrian model Bruno. Dressed in a black cloak, and a bizarre bundle of clothing, Cohen strutted down the catwalk past the shows' models. But the police were called when he refused to leave to restore order. Scantily clad models screamed and security guards dived on him and several others with him and bundled them away. TV footage screened on Italian TV showed Cohen dressed as his creation Bruno, a flamboyant Austrian fashionista. Cohen is in Milan working on a new film called Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Male.Dressed in a blonde wig and an apparently random collection of clothing, Baron Cohen leapt onto a catwalk and sashayed down the stage during a show by Spanish designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada. Baron Cohen best known for his creations Ali G and Borat, the blundering Kazakh journalist is in Milan working on a new film featuring his character Bruno, a flamboyantly camp Austrian television reporter. Baron Cohen was barely recognizable in his bizarre disguise, in which a suede boot dangled from fur coats and capes, but a spokeswoman for the National Chamber of Italian Fashion confirmed that it was him. Everybody is talking about it, she told the Telegraph. Some people were very angry and annoyed, others found it funny and laughed. Italian police were less amused they hauled the comedian off to a nearby station and demanded his name, age and address, as well as details from his passport, which had to be fetched from his hotel. The incorrigible Sacha Baron Cohen violates the sacred rituals of high fashion, commented the national newspaper La Repubblica. It was the second time the British comedian has caused chaos at the world famous event. On Thursday he and his team used fake passes to fool security guards into letting them into a backstage area of a show by the Italian label Iceberg. Dressed in the same wig and a head-to-toe velcro suit, Baron Cohen ran around, careering into clothes racks. In footage aired on Italian television, flustered fashionistas screamed security, security until he was manhandled away by security guards. The two stunts will presumably be incorporated into Baron Cohens new film, Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Male, due out in May. It is being shot in the same mockumentary style that was such a hit in Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. Bruno, like Borat, is one of the sketch characters from Baron Cohens popular TV series, Da Ali G Show.

The shorter winter days usually result in fewer potential thermal soaring opportunities during the winter season in the Mid-Atlantic region of the US. However, the hardier soaring enthusiasts often take advantage of the ridge and wave lift generated by strong winds associated with the low pressure systems which frequent the region during the winter months. The heroes of this clip are the hang glider pilots who brave the elements (minus 4 degrees Celsius in winds exceeding 50 mph) without even the meager protection afforded by a sailplane fuselage. Public Service Announcement: No gliders, hang gliders, or pilots were harmed during the making of this film. All maneuvers were performed by highly experienced pilots and should not be attempted without appropriate training or flight experience. N.B. Always communicate and coordinate with the pilots of other aircraft before flying in close proximity situations. Respect all ridge soaring rules and FAA/JAA/NAA/CAA/etc. regulations.
