The Uniting Principle of Democrats from Adam's Blog » Podcast on May 11, 2008 6 views
Podcast Show Notes Obama s numbers among White voters comparable to Kerry s . More witnesses come forward in support of Arianna Huffington s claim that McCain told her he didn t vote for Bush. Kind of awkward for a guy trying to unite the Republican party. Carter s right: Michigan voters disqualified themselves. Democrats have a unity issue: continuing abortion. A North Carolina Congressional Candidate tells the National Republican Congressional Campaign Committee that he doesn t want their money. (Hat Tip: Save the GOP.) Congressman Nick Lampson (D-TX) campaign against corrupt earmarks for lobbyists in 2006 and has shown himself a hypocrite in Congress. How the Tax Code ruins contests and sweepstakes. How students who don t want to learn from families that don t care hinder students who want to learn and how charter schools help. (Hat Tip: Right Mind.) The second Amendment saves lives. Examples: here, here, here, and here. Student Senator learns thuggery due to lack of punishment for vandalism and violation of the free speech rights of fellow students. Pro-Life Catholics in Michigan hold a funeral for unborn children thrown away like trash into dumpsters, while a pro-life group exposes another abortionist carrying out the same sleezy practice. (Hat Tip: Jill Stanek.) Bill in Britain leaves open the possibility of Human-Animal hybird, The Humanzee. A stunning defeat for pro-abortionist in Brazil. Selective tolerance: ex-gays fear reprisals from the homosexual community that leads them to remain silent. Young Australian Males running short of role models thanks to a culture of sensationalized sex abuse stories. (Hat Tip: Political Correctness Watch.) Girls Sports pose a risk to girls health. dear prudence from YouTube :: Tag // second life on May 10, 2008 6 views
They keep us constantly hungry. Sex obsessed yet sex repressed. Wanting to undress. Always the second guess. Trivial disputes over the color of her suit. The world is a vast prison camp. I see fences, cocrete, metal and poisonous pollutions at every turn. I see throngs of people leading frantic miserable lives to facilitate a few limo riders. I see natural life being dissected, mutilated, neglected, discarded, destroyed. We stole this world at gunpoint and now we wonder why it shrivels and dies inside of prison. Rid yourself of the ego self, that has been implanted and nurtured by this culture of greed. This abstract self that posesses the world, counts his money, his stocks, his IRA, his square footage, the price of his car, the reach of his power. It is the network, the web, which ties us all to the killing. Are we free to breathe? Are we free to drink water without being drugged or poisoned? Are we free to live without supporting a despotic controlling bureaucracy, armed to the teeth with agents and rules. A swarming wasps nest of demands. In truth there is no Freedom. You will work pay taxes, buy the crap were selling, drink the poisons breath the filth and eat the death we produce. These are the rules of the Institution. These are the rules of your prison. These are the rules against Life, against Future, against Hope. In the end there always remains the unthought of possibility, the occurence that wasn't planned for, the stroke of good fortune, the miraculous hand of chance which delivers the children into the Garden. RetroVision Media Covers How America Can Unite Despite The Clinton Campaign from RetroVision Media on May 09, 2008 12 views
What is killing America and the American dream is the divisive politicians that have and will continue do anything to highlight our differences and downplay all the things we have in common for the slimly purpose of getting elected. We would venture to say all Americans want the same things for themselves and their families. Every American wants affordable healthcare, education and job security. Every American wants a chance to climb the latter of success. Every American want to live in safe, crime free neighborhoods, preferably in a home they own. Who in their right mind would say or believe otherwise. These are things a real leader can build upon to bring this nation closer together to change the negative direction we are headed. So, for Hillary Clinton to blatantly play working class blue-collar white voters against African Americans while playing college educated upper management types against the high school educated, is beyond our comprehension. If only this was the Clinton ca

Hundreds Block The Streets East Runton Post Office Protest from recent posts - blip.tv (beta) on May 08, 2008 9 views
A dramatic event took place in Norfolk at the coastal village of East Runton involving a protest march against the closure of It's regional post office. Hundreds of banner wielding protesters gathered to march through the streets in scenes only witnessed during the second world war. The protest was echoed with gatherings in Gimingham, Sheringham and Fakenham, all of which have post offices under threat. Public outrage concerning these actions have been paralleled with awful decisions throughout history including Beeching's blunder in pulling up railway lines in the UK that affected the heart of our British industry and is mirrored in our congested roads of today. It was hard to comprehend that this emotional outcry was being held in modern times in a country that is presently placing emphasis on the concern for the elderly and education. Political parties joined forces to underline the seriousness of this latest strangle hold on vital village facilities that is spreading across the UK. Norman Lamb from the Liberal Democrats delivered a powerful speech amongst cheers of approval "This is a really important facility for this village" said mister Lamb "I think it's outrageous that its proposed for closure! I suspect it was added quite late on in their operation and the crazy and outrageous aspect of this consultation is that if we save any post office they're going to close another one in Norfolk. Now is that a proper consultation? No! We have to speak with one voice across all political parties, across all the people in this village, to say we will not accept the closure of this post office. The fact that so many of you have turned out today is really important of getting that message across" Parish Councillor Mike Ashwell, who helped organise the march, said: The support is fantastic. It's at times like this that the British public are at their best. We have seen many situations like this in past fall on deaf ears with regrettable outcome. Lets hope that this will not end with another blunder for our grandchildren to read in history books. This is the biggest thing East Runton has seen in a long long time. The post office is important because it is not only a thriving business but is also a place where the community meets. It is a business that is growing and it is ridiculous that a business which is growing and thriving should close" Sub-postmaster Stephen Bacon said he was overwhelmed by the show of support. He said: You can see the strength in feeling and we also represent those who are unable to march, let alone travel to another post office. We have an elderly population including semi permanent residence on the many holiday accomidations, thousands of tourists. We have a modern spacious office which has lead to an office in growth prepared to move forward" _________________________ Related Linkhttp://www.myspace.com/eastrunton
