Samantha Murphy was one of the first artists that I made a connection with as a result of podcasting. Her enthusiasm for creativity was evident in the quality of the cuts on her album, Somewhere Between Starving and Stardom. I was lucky to be able to catch her recent solo acoustic performance at Rockwood Music Hall. Samantha filled the room with sound and emotion, much to the delight of the folks who were in attendance.
