The cast and crew of Food Network's "How'd That Get on My Table?" were in south Gilroy Wednesday to tape an episode.Host Sunny Anderson and her five-person crew toured the ConAgra facility to get a sense of how garlic goes from the field to the table. In particular, they saw how the garlic was peeled, crushed, dehydrated and packaged.The episode is scheduled to run in the fall.In this video, Anderson talks about why she came to Gilroy and how garlic stacks up against the other foods she has featured so far.

We discovered Capoeira when my daughter, Mia, was six. This is an video I made three years ago of the Children's Capoeira Festival organised by her teachers, Amazonas Capoeira in North London. Capoeira was a martial art that evolved out of the slave trade in Brazil when slaves created the dance-like acrobating fighting when their masters banned fighting. I thnk that's what it is anyway. The kids adored it - they learned acrobatic moves, somersaults, a lot of breakdancing moves (Mia could even spin on her head!), and they played cool rhythms on Brazilian native instruments. Why do the Brazilians have such a monopoly of cool in culture? Sadly once Mia took up Gymnastics the training regime no longer gave her time to do Capoeira as well. But how we loved it. This was made for the SF 48hr Film Festival on July 20, 2008. This is the results of my first 48 hr film festival. This was shot on an HVX200 with a Letus Extreme adapter and some Ziess prime lens. The short has some issues but hey, what did you expect in 48 hours. Overall, I am extremely happy. Note: I received the Letus adapter two days before the shoot and originally decided not to use the adapter...boy, am I glad I changed my mind...not bad for first time usage. Cast: Tosh Xiong
