Love, Lies, and Tears. Chp.11- My Treat. Jessica woke up early the next morning. Everyone was sleeping. Carly was on a bunch of pillows on Jess' floor. Becca was asleep on one end of her bed and Frankie was a sleep on the other. Her dad was in his bed. Nick was asleep on one couch and Joe was asleep on the other. Kevin was nowhere in sight. She made some coffee, and looked outside. Kevin was sitting on the steps the her back porch. Jessica went and sat next to him with some coffee. Jessica: *handing him the coffee* Good morning. Kevin: *looking at her tear-stained face* Morning. Are you ok? Jessica: *looking down* I just couldn't believe that they would do something like that. I've known them for so long. I just *starts crying* Kevin: *hugging her* Shhhh. I know it's embarrassing. You are the one who stays strong for everyone. It's hard, I know. Just let it all out. *as he was hugging her, Nick showed up behind them. Nick smoothly took Kevin's spot and Kevin went inside.* Jessica: Did someone come out? *looked up at Nick. STORY IN DESCRIPTION: Hey guys! This is the eleventh chapter of BYW, and I took quite a lot of time to write it yeah (: I hope you like it! Also, I want to wish Joe Jonas a happy 19th birthday! Jury shouted at nick. His face was tilted to the side as an after effect, and he felt his cheek burning after the slap. All he does is give her a hug, and she almost murders him. She had always pushed him away, but now she was trying to hurt him back. As if that would help. "You can do whatever you want, but I'm not going to change! So why bother? I'm not worth your time nick, just forget about me and move on. I can't forget what happened, and you can't change that. It's just the way it is. Please, just go. Every time I see you guys, all I want to do is wring your necks. Go before you get hurt. Go before I lose control," a mixture of angry words rolled out on her tongue, but she knew none of it was true. She wondered whether she would ever be able to speak the truth again. "How much control do you have left to lose anyway? You're scared, admit it. You're scared because you like it, because you know you have no one left to blame. You don't have to force yourself to hate us Jury, to live inside a hole. It's not going to do you any better, and you know that. There are so many ways for you to change, if you just put your mind to it. But of course, it's not like you're gonna do it anyway," Nick said, as he started to walk away. He had decided right then and there, at Jury's house, that he had done enough. This girl was too much. This girl who was crying secretly behind him, hiding her tears, was too much. That was when Carrie came running up, looking worried. "Nick, what happened? I heard shouting coming from Jury's room, is everything all right?" she asked. "I wish," he muttered, as he continued down the stairs. Whatever, he thought to himself. Whatever. Carrie opened Jury's room door, and peeped in. Her heart sank to her shoes when she saw her daughter sitting on the tile floor, burying her head in her arms. She was rocking back and forth, and her honey blonde hair was strewn all over the place. That was when Carrie realized it. Jury had cut of all her hair. Jury had cut off all her golden, beautiful hair. It was all gone, and all that was left was a shaggy and messy shoulder length mop of hair, carelessly cut. Her tiny frame was shivering, and she looked so fragile. "Jury! Oh my god, Jury! What happened? Why did you cut your long hair? You loved your hair, you were so proud of it," Carrie asked, her voice shaking. She enveloped her daughter, and held her tight. "Since when? It's so long and ugly, it deserved a good cut. With all that hair, I looked so... happy." Jury said, not moving. "Oh Jury honey, what's wrong with looking happy? So the next chapter is here! This one also goes out to joejonas93. You should be very happy today :) So the it's the day AFTER the shooting. Getlin's POV. Soo.. I tried to open my eyes, but they wouldn't open. I tried to remember something but I only remember hugging Nick, then blood and something about Dave. That's it. I tried really hard for a couple of minutes and finally I could open my eyes. First they were really foggy but after a minute or so, they cleared up and I saw so many people. Dave was sitting on the couch opposite me, Charlotte and Alexandra were next to me both of them had fallen asleep. They looked soo cute. I tried to wake them up, and luckily they did. "GETLIN!! You're awake!" Charlotte shouted. "Yes Charlotte, I am. But please. Volume down. Did you go to the concert yesterday? It was yesterday, right?" I looked at them. "Yes, silly. It was yesterday. And we went because you weren't supposed to wake up until tomorrow which is today. And it was awesome! Although the boys seemed a little distracted but it was still perfect." Charlotte said. "And what did you think of it Lexy?" I asked Alexandra. "Well, I love the songs even more, and the older guy is really hot. I can't believe it but I actually might like him." She said. "But now, who cares about the concert. What happened with Jerry? Tell us, tell us!!" Charlotte demanded. "Well, it's actually a funny story guys." I started talking. Then the nurse came in and kicked everyone out except Dave. I think she was scared of him. She did what she needed to do and then Charlotte and Alexandra came back in. "What's so funny about meeting Jerry?" Charlotte looked at me. "Well, because Jerry's full name is Nicholas Jerry Jonas. Member of the Jonas Brothers. Besides right before meeting him, I went on a date with Joe Jonas!" I told them. They looked shocked. "Jerry is actually Nick J? How? Why did he lie?" Alexandra asked me. "He has his reasons. Good reasons, too. We said we'd be friends. Besides, I think Joe might actually like me. Besides, just give it time. Let's see what happens." I told them. "Well, if you think it's cool, we think it's cool." They said to me. "Thanks guys." I started to hug them but then let out this big shout of pain. That hurt big time! "Sorry, I can't hug you. Maybe later." I told them, looking down. "I don't mind. We can still hug you." They hugged me and then went home. I think the nurse put in morphine or something, because I was getting really sleepy. So I fell asleep for a couple of hours. When I woke up, I saw some new people in my room. Joe, Kevin and Nick were there. With Dave. And Big Rob. Since the boys were sleeping, I called Dave to my side. G: Dave, what happened to me? D: You got shot. G: By who? No, don't tell me. Its the same who did it 10 years ago? D: It looks like it, but we can't be sure because no one knows how he looks like. But we have to get you out of here. As fast as possible. He knows you're here so you have to move. I already talked it through with your guardians. It looks like your stepdad had been wanting to move to California for a long time. So we'll move there. Your stuff is packed and on its way there. I took the stuff out of your safe and it's with me. G: What would I do without you? But what about my friends? What do I say to them? It isn't that simple. I have build up a life here. I just can't leave it behind. Too many obligations. D: But you'll get a new identity because he knows your old one. So anyone who hold a grudge against you here, can't do anything about it. G: Put I can't move straight away. I have to stay here for a bit after I get out. I probably can't do cheerleading but I have to finish all school stuff. D: Ohh.. fine. Since you own the house anyway. But you have to go shopping for new clothes because all your old ones are on their way to Cali. G: You know I don't mind a little shopping spree. So I can stay for a couple of weeks?*puppy dog face* D: Yeah.. But I'll be with you every second. I can't believe it. I'm moving. Again. For the same reasons. For the same guy! Its absolutely awful! This story is a bit similar to the Cinderella Movie, with Hilary Duff and Chad Micheal Murray. First off the backgrounds. Main heroine is Getlin, 17, born in Europe but for some reason brought to the States when she was a younger (we'll know why later). Quite tall, but shorter that the Jonas Brothers ;) Blond hair, slim and supernice and friendly. Lives in Dallas. Has had a penpal over the internet for two years, Jerry (to us known as Nick Jonas). And ofcourse a totally obsessed fan of the JB's! Joe is her favorite. Heroine's friends.. Charlotte, 17, Getlin's best friend, lives also in Dallas and a complete JB fan! Her favorite is Nick. Looks a bit like Demi Lovato. She is a very good friend and loyal, also very supportive. Her goal was to get Getlin to meet with Jerry, so they can see their soulmates ;) Alexandra, 19, lives also in Dallas :P Likes the Jonas Brothers, their songs and all that, but doesn't get the hype about the guys themselves. Looks like Miley Cyrus meets Selena Gomez meets Megan Fox :P Is also Getlin and Charlotte's best friend. Now of course our main course, the Jonas Brothers! Nick, 17 (sorry, I had to made him a bit older), has been Getlin's penpal for two years and with each day starts to fall more for her, but she knows him as Jerry and they still haven't met. Of course they live in LA, too. Joe, 18 (I know he will be 19 very soon, but let's just write the birthday into the story). Well you know all about him :) Mr.Danger. Kevin, 20. Artistic, romantic and very caring. Frankie, 8. Well you know them all, so no description needed. Minor characters will be Charlotte's little sis Michelle and couple of other ones. So now that you know the backgrounds, it's time for the intro. ------------------------------- Its year 2006. Getlin's POV Quite late at night when suddenly someone starts talking to Getlin. Since she was a bit tired, she didn't talk to him much. The guy introduced himself as Jerry. Getlin introduced herself and they promised to talk the next day. Nick's POV It was quite late, but I still saw this one person online. So I decided to start talking to her. Introduced myself and got to know her name. Getlin. It's such a mysterious name. I introduced myself as Jerry. I know it's my middle name, but the Jonas Brothers, we couldn't do that, we just didn't meet new people over the net. So I gave her my middle name, so it would be easier. She said she was very tired so we promised to talk the next day. And so we did, and the next day and the next. Skipping to the this year. Normal POV Nick (Jerry) and Getlin are the best of friends. Nick still hasn't told her who he really was. The band was getting more popular each day and even Getlin loved them. Little did she know, she had been chatting to one of the bros for two years. Almost. But EVERYTHING was going to change when Nick decided to tell her the truth and invite her over to one of their concerts in Dallas. Since she was going anyway. So what's gonna happen now? STORY IN DESCRIPTION: Hey guys! I know I said I will try to upload every day, but this chapter was delayed cause I am quite busy these days. (Here in Singapore I'm having my term exams) Anyways, here is the fourth chapter! Well, I hope I get more comments from you to fire me up and write more ya(: Um you may have realized the story in taking a big turn, cause now JB is into the story as well. Chapters 1 and 2 were more like an intro, and from this chapter onwards is where the story takes form basically. So if possible, comment me and give me ideas for the oncoming chapters! They will be greatly appreciated (: Beneath Your Window, Chapter 4: A tear slipped by as she smoothed the black dress down. It fit her perfectly, as if it was made for her. She looked taller, but not any stronger. In fact, she looked torn and weak in the dress, but it didn't matter anyway, since nobody was supposed to look happy at a funeral. It wouldn't be right. She stared blankly at herself in the mirror, and suddenly a thought struck her. What would they look like in her sister's funeral? Looking smart and handsome at their concerts would be of great contrast to this. Anger boiled inside Jury, as she tried to stop herself from thinking about the Jonas Brothers. 'They killed your sister' she kept telling herself, but in her heart she knew she was blaming the wrong party. Yet she couldn't stop the rush of angry and confused feelings that came up when she thought of them, when she realized that just two days ago she was fantasizing and fawning over them. She forced herself to believe that she needed someone to blame, since she couldn't handle the guilt all by herself. She was running away from the depression, running away from her now drastically changed life. Every time she thought of her sister, she felt like she couldn't breathe. Together with the reflection of herself in the mirror, she saw other things as well. Her bed, covered with the new camp rock bed sheets, with Demi Lovato and Joe's face smiling at the wall above. The wall above, covered with hundreds of sparkling posters, each plastered with smiling faces of the musical trio. She even heard traces of JoBro songs in the air, songs she had blasted through the speakers a few days ago. That was when desperation grabbed her, and hit her hard. Fire burned in her eyes as she ran across the room in her dress, tearing away posters from the walls, ripping her favorite bedspread in to pieces of empty nothingness. She hurled her JB CD collection off her table top and threw them onto the floor, as she wanted to prove something from her actions. Yet, she couldn't fill up the emptiness and desire in her heart. She sank into a broken pile on the floor, tears ruining her makeup, revealing the confused and pained expressions beneath. She had lost her sister, but she felt like she had lost everything else in her life as well. Facing the funeral was another thing altogether, and somehow she couldn't bring herself to go. ~End of Chapter 4~ Well, that's it for chapter 4 I guess. The next chapter is about the funeral, and Jury facing the Jonas Brothers who went to pay their respects too. By now you should be able to tell that the romance in this story will be accidental, as Jury is forcing herself to hate the Jonas Brothers. So it will be like enemies falling in love I guess. Haha. It sounds lame now that I type it out. Anyways, please give me feedback, so I know how you want the story to be like(: Watch out for the next chapter! This video is made to show you a brief bit of my story I've been writing with a friend, I will have a better one up soon now that I have more clips for it. Summery/Small Book Clip: Suddenly the bright morning sky was swallowed in thick clouds, and everyone and everything turned to black shadows. Then the little girl looked up; a lightning bolt slashed through the dark sky like a knife ripping down the middle of a curtain, the light flickering in her eyes. Out of the opening, she saw a gray pillar of what looked like mist, seeming to form into the shady profile of a winged being. It then glided down from the sky, glowing in an outline of pale white light, and sweeping low over the crowd of oblivious people. The child tried to look closer at something she thought she saw it holding in its right hand, but it disappeared when she saw it go under the balcony. After a few moments of what seemed like eternity, the winged figure reappeared, rising up in front of the little girl at the balcony's edge. The being's features were now beginning to form--a tall, pale being in a long, flowing, gray robe, and wide, lighter gray wings outstretched, like an angelic statue from a tombstone come to life. In between both of his clasped hands was an illuminated crucifix reaching almost all the way down to his feet. His skin was a very light pale, and his narrow face seemed hard like stone, yet somehow still soft. For about two minutes, the little girl did nothing but stare into the angel's cold, dark eyes. Finally, the child looked down. The king was now below her, a black image like the rest of the people. Instead, the child was seemingly floating, hanging before the angel in midair. The crucifix staff the angel had glowed even brighter than before as the bottom point of it reformed and sharpened into a blade. As he raised the sword above his head in one hand, his wings more extended and his long robe being whipped back in a gust of wind, he hung his head and closed his eyes, as if in sorrow. The blade then came down and slit the little girl's throat, as if being struck by the bolt of lightning from which he appeared. Suddenly, the child was in extreme pain, like her organs began writhing inside of her. She clutched her throat for a moment and took her hands away to see them dripping with deep crimson blood. As the poor little one began suffocating, the angel lifted his head when the deed was done and reached for her. Then everything was dark, as the pain suddenly ceased. Things turned bright again, as she was looking up at the royal couple, the queen in tears and bitter mourning, while the king looked on, standing firmly straight and frowning with his hands clasped behind his back. The child was lying on her back in a bed of flowers and wearing a tiny gown of fine linen, and was in what looked and felt like a wooden coffin. Alarmed, she tried to move but was stiff as a board, hopelessly paralyzed. I'm not dead, thought the child, I can't be dead...please, I don't want to die! Desperately trying to reach for the distraught queen, the child saw the scene gradually turning hazy with gray spots and was growing cold. Finally, everything completely vanished, and the child was lying very still, until the "ground" beneath her caved in and she was falling. Diving headfirst, she was looking "up" into a dark wind tunnel, blowing her down as if she were merely a feather being sucked down a ventilation shaft. She no longer felt weighed down by a small, mortal corpse; in fact, she barely felt anything at all, besides somehow realizing a strange sensation that she had existed somewhere before, for a long time...almost immortal, but still young. The story is about those children who die too young and gain a second chance at life as long as they agree to protect those who are not re-born and to defend them against the darkness and the evils.
