*QUICKTIME *Phone This is the first in a series of stories capturing the first annual Old Glory Run held in Cold Spring, Minnesota. Over 700 runners participated in the 5K and 1K races. This story teaser of the event captures ROCORI graduate Mike Schneider who sings the Star Spangled Banner and also the start of the 5K race. I used my Logitech ClickSmart 510 digital camera/webcam to record the video onto the hard drive. The colors aren’t the best because the camera sucks. I recorded for over an hour while I washed the dishes and cooked supper.

Recorded this video a few weeks ago. It’s a 90 minute time lapse video of the sunrise compressed into a 1 minute 46 second video (with titles and closing credits of course).

Army helicopters and Air Force jets are constantly flying over the house. Ever since I can remember every time I hear one coming over I jump to my feet, rush to the window to look for it in the sky. I don’t know why. I guess they are fascinating. This video is of a large helicopter flying over with some of the best audio in the background.

Tickets are $25 and the proceeds are going toward helping the Cold Spring Fire Department purchase a new truck. The concert will be held at the Gluek (Cold Spring Brewery) Distribution Center. Now that spring is here, Richmond citizens are also asked to please take care of any items on their property that may not supposed to be there.
