A time-lapse of clouds forming over the flatirons in Boulder, CO as viewed from my apartment. Reminded me of boiling water. This is my first time-lapse video using my ghetto time lapse setup I made from an old web-cam and some Tupperware. I'll post how I made the setup as well as links to the scripts I used in the near future.

This all-new production features recent digital video shot with a Canon Digital Video Camcorder, equipment on loan to me from Finatic. Thanks Fin! This footage was recorded on Sunday, July 20, 2008, from the breeze-way of my apartment building. Just after 7:00pm, local time, a summer storm battered the area with wind and rain, thunder with lightning and hail. There were some reports of funnel clouds associated with this storm and the severe weather sirens can be heard. You'll see some really nice scenes of lightning and hear pealing claps of thunder. You'll see how strong the winds are as rain is blown sideways. My neighbor Jeff makes an appearance and declares his enjoyment of stormy weather and his daughters can be seen and heard being intrigued and frightened by the storm. This video was captured from the DV cassette using Pinnacle Movie Box+USB. The video was editied with Vegas 7. The credits were created with Windows Movie Maker.
