GOSPEL CHURCH Medryckande Gospel direkt från Gospelkyrkorna i Chicago och New York Med: Cynthia Nunn & Dayspring Chorale, Clarence Eggleton, Joshua Nelson m.fl GOSPEL IN CONCERT Modern gospel kryddad med musik från kvällen tidigare akter. Med: Walt Whitman & Soul Children of Chicago, Jay T Hairston, Psalm 4 (Glen Scott, André De Lange, Paris Gilbert), Louise Hoffsten, Eric Bibb, Credokören, Servants m.fl. Triple&Touch och Star School Choir: Ända sedan 1983 har musikakrobaterna i Triple&Touch underhållit Sverige. Under 2007 framträdde T&T som enda utländska gäster för Zulukungen King Goodwill och 25000 "maidens", vid den årliga Reedance festivalen i Ngoma i KwaZuluNatal. Vid Ostindiefararens stop i London och dess hemkomst till Göteborg inför bl.a. Kinas President, vid SKF:s 100års jubileum inför den förste mannen på månen, Neil Armstrong, T&T invigde Gothia Cup på Ullevi, Göteborg, spelade in 13 nya "På Spåret" avsnitt, samt avslutade året med 33 julkonserter runt om i landet tillsammans med Orsa Spelmän, Elisabeth Andreasen och 12 ungdomar i Star School Choir från Sydafrika. Turnén avslutades på Cirkus i Stockholm i närvaro av Drottning Silvia... Eric Bibb: Bluessångaren och gitarristen Eric Bibb har världen som arbetsfält och medverkar regelbundet på bluesfestivaler runtom i Europa och USA. Eric har många strängar på sin gitarr, för tillfället arbetar han med filmen "Gospel Hill", där bl.a. Danny Glover och Samuel L. Jackson medverkar. Louise Hoffsten: Sveriges egen "Bluesdrottning" gästar GAT. Med ena foten i Memphis och den andra i den svenska myllan har Louise i mer än 20 år berört sin publik. Cyndee Peters: Cyndee Peters är en av Sveriges mest folkkära artister. 1998 firade hon sitt 25-års jubileum som artist i Sverige. I USA har hon medverkat i tv, musikgalor och musikvideos tillsammans med storheter som Liza Minnelli, Dionne Warwick, Toto och Natalie Cole. Cynthia Nunn & Dayspring Chorale: Dayspring Chorale är en genuin gospelkör från Chicago, att lyssna till dem är som att kliva rakt in i filmen "Blues Brothers". Deras ledare Cynthia Nunn är en världsartist som de senaste åren har hon gjort över 30 resor till Europa. Joshua Nelson: En av Joshuas musikaliska förebilder är Mahalia Jackson, "the Queen of Gospel Music". Sedan han som liten hörde skivor med Mahalia har han sjungit hennes sånger, och utvecklat en förbluffande röstlikhet med sin idol. Bl.a. har han turnerat med hennes pianist Edward Robinson. 2004 medverkade Joshua även i "the Oprah Winfrey Show". Joshua Nelson har uppträtt med många kända sångare och musiker genom åren som t.ex. Wynton Marsalis, Aretha Franklin, Billy Preston och Dizzy Gillespie och även gospellegender som Albertina Walker och Vanessa Bell Armstrong. Joshua är en person och en röst du inte glömmer. Clarence Eggleton: Clarence Eggleton är pianist och kompositör från Kalifornien. Med sånger som "Take me to the water", "Blessed be the name of the Lord" och "Yes I know Jesus" är han en av de sångförfattare som bidragit mest till att sprida gospelmusiken i Sverige. Walt Whitman & Soul Children of Chicago: Walt Whitman är en inspirerande körledare med smittande energi som varit instruktör både under Körfestivalen och Barn- och Tonårsfestivalen. Walt är ledare för Soul Children of Chicago, en ungdomskör utöver det vanliga, som bl.a. har uppträtt med artister som Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, Sounds of Blackness och Whitney Houston. Sedan Walt bildade kören 1981 har över 1000 barn och ungdomar varit med och Soul Children har varit grogrund för artister som David Hollister och Kim McFarland. Psalm4: Gospel från 3 världsdelar. Gruppen består av André De Lange (Sverige/Sydafrika), Glen Scott (Storbritannien) och Paris Gilbert (USA). Den musikaliska grunden är soul, rhytm & blues och gospel. Jay T Hairston: Jay T är låtskrivare, solist och körledare och kommer från Cleveland, som är en av de stora gospelstäderna i USA. Jay T var tidigare medlem i gospelgruppen "Glories of Gospel".
