We were at breakfast and I thought that after I ordered pancakes and eggs, it would be funny to ask for two tequila shots. I was, obviously, joking. It was 10:48 am on a Sunday morning!! Of course I didn't really want two tequila shots. Jakob, on the other hand, thought it was a marvelous idea, most likely because the average person would never do that. Reggie improvised this song a few weeks ago. It was his first video with his electro-harmonix 2880, a looping machine with more flexibility than his normal Line6 DL4. We shot it at Noah's place; he did the lighting. William helped with the sound. I hope we do more work as a group, just getting together and experimenting. In celebration of a ten-day trip we're taking to Colombia with our friend Paul and his family in Bogotá, we prepared 4 authentic dishes with the help of Patricia McCausland-Gallo's book Secrets of Colombian Cooking. While selecting recipes, we picked a few that require prep times of 3 hours or more, and when we asked Paul if this would take up too much of the night, he said, "You have to learn to eat like Colombians do ... late and long."
