Bob Dylan - It's Alright Ma (I'm Only Bleeding) Copyright - 1965 Columbia Records "It's Alright, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding)" is a song by Bob Dylan. It first appeared as the penultimate track on the second side of his album, Bringing It All Back Home, released on 22 March, 1965 by Columbia Records, although Dylan performed it at least as early as 1964. A famous cover of the song, performed by Roger McGuinn, appeared in the soundtrack of Easy Rider. McGuinn's group The Byrds, also occasionally performed the song live. A version of which is featured on the bonus disc of the 2000 remaster of the (Untitled) album, called (Untitled)/(Unissued). This version also appears as a bonus track on the 2002 remastered version of the compilation The Byrds Play Dylan. The line, "He not busy being born is busy dying" is popular with politicians.
