A Woman Just Like You - Original Song by Tom Hall
from Top Rated June 26, 2008
I take back what I said about not being a YouTuber! If I keep getting support like this I'm going to beome addicted to uploaded performances. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR THE COMMENTS AND EMAILS!!! A Woman Just Like You! I need you to listen cause there's something to say I couldn't think of any reason I'd go away So many hope for a love half this good So why am I so lucky having twice as much as anyone could? You know I'm not all that special, I've got faults from here to Kalamazoo So tell me then why am I blessed? What did I do CHORUS To have a woman like you? Have you noticed I am plain? How does a woman like you Look at me and feel the same? Have you seen I'm not so rugged? Can you tell I'm not so cool? So tell me what did I do To have a woman just like you? Lacking popularity is my middle name I'm not the centre of attention or the guy who's stealing everyone's fame But so many hope for a love half this good So why am I so lucky having twice as much as anyone could? No way I wasn't born a hero saving people on the evening news So tell me then why this good love? Girl what did I do To have a woman like you? Have you noticed I am plain? How does a woman like you Look at me and feel the same? Have you seen I'm not so rugged? Can you tell I'm not so cool? So tell me what did I do To have a woman just like you? What did I do? What did I do To have a woman like you? Have you noticed I am plain? How does a woman like you Look at me and feel the same? Have you seen I'm not so rugged? Can you tell I'm not so cool? So tell me what did I do To have a woman just like you? (c) 2008 Tom Hall. All Rights Reserved

Malvin - "Darkness" (Darren Hayes Cover)
from YouTube :: Tag // lost June 18, 2008
Been spending so much time underground I guess my eyes adjusted To the lack of light I got Covered in darkness Covered in darkness Hibernating always waiting for something new Happiness always ending In the blink of an eye There was no one attending No one attending It doesn't really matter where it all began All I know I got covered in darkness Covered in darkness Ever wonder why I never really truly connect Although my eyes are open I can hold your gaze But I am never connected Never connected I am famous for my generosity They say I am the kindest But it is easier to Give than receive love Give than receive love It doesn't really matter where it all began All I know I was covered in darkness Covered in darkness Turning pages over Run away to nowhere And it's hard to take control When your enemy's old and afraid of you You'll discover that the monster you were running from Is the monster in you Better to hold on to love Better to hold on to love Change will come It doesn't really matter where it all began All I know I was covered in darkness Covered in darkness It doesn't really matter where it all began Cuz all I know I was lost I was lost No, no It doesn't really matter where it all began no no All I know I was lost I feel lost Lost No... English Version: Flavor of Life - Utada Hikaru
from YouTube :: Tag // utada June 16, 2008
:D I was inspired by RoflWaffleLova and Ichig06 to do this :D they did different english versions of this song so I decided to try it too!! I rewrote the lyrics based on the Japanese version :D and yes.. I am in exam period.. two in the next two days :P but ahhh yt talented ones make me want to sing!!! and so here I am.. it's probably taken me close to an hr :P Back to study now~ -------My Lyrics-------- It still hurts me inside The thank you that you said to me Bitter tears I cried at night Even after the goodbye, Like magic that just never dies, Memories they linger on, the flavor of life x2 are we friends anymore, are we lovers or naught like a seed who awaits the day to bloom but I can't seem to move on any further, can't step forward away from this.. The frustration is driving me mad, oh baby why I don't know.. What can I do about this baby? It still hurts me inside The thank you that you said to me Bitter tears I cried at night Even after the goodbye, Like magic that just never dies, Memories they linger on, the flavor of life x2 conversations around, whether sweet whether sour it doesn't interest me at all even when things don't go the way that you want what does that really mean/matter that you shouldn't throw your life away, yehhhh It isn't worth doing that about..Ahh.. When you said what's wrong I replied and I said it's nothing Then I smiled and walked away I know that just not me, that old me wouldn't fake a smile she would turn and the face pain. The more I believe in you the you that you've become to be it hurts even more inside I know that you don't really love me anymore, you like me somewhat..{or: I know that you like me} the flavor life when you suddenly remember the smell of someone close by lost in your memory, somehow I find my way there.. when snow falls, I see the purest whitest sky, I want to be honest, truly happy inside. The future seems so warm and enticing me to beckon I don't need no diamond ring I just want to hold on, to the time that we don't have much of and share with you here tonight It still hurts me inside The thank you that you said to me Bitter tears I cried at night Even after the goodbye, Like magic that just never dies, Memories they linger on, the flavor of life x2 Author: kina7 Keywords: english version flavor of life flavour utada hikaru translation jpop hanayori dango ballad Added: June 16, 2008

Foreigner - Starrider
from YouTube :: Tag // newyork June 02, 2008
Lyrics: I stole a ride on a passing star Not knowing where I was going How near or how far Through years of light, lands of future and past Until the heavenly gates Were sighted at last Starrider, rider, rider Take me to the stars Starrider, rider, rider Show me where you are Northern lights flashed by And then they were gone And as old stars would die So the new ones were born And ever on I sailed Celestial ways And in the light of my years Shone the rest of my days Speed increasing All control is in the hands of those who know Will they help us grow To one day be starriders Starrider, rider, rider Show me where you are Starrider, rider, rider Take me to the stars Speed increasing All control is in the hands of those who know Will they help us grow To one day be starriders Foreigner is a rock band formed in New York City in 1976 by veteran musicians Mick Jones and ex-King Crimson member Ian McDonald, along with then-unknown vocalist Lou Gramm (Louis Grammatico). Foreigner has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide including over 36 million in the United States alone. The band is led by British journeyman rocker Mick Jones (former member of Nero and the Gladiators, Spooky Tooth, and The Leslie West Band) who in early 1976 met with ex-King Crimson member Ian McDonald and formed Foreigner with Lou Gramm, Dennis Elliott, Al Greenwood, and Ed Gagliardi as a sextet. Jones came up with the name from the fact that he, McDonald, and Elliott were British, while Gramm, Greenwood, and Gagliardi were Americans. The band's debut album Foreigner sold more than four million copies in the United States and stayed in the Top 20 for a year with such hits as "Feels Like the First Time", "Cold as Ice", and "Long Long Way From Home". Their second album, Double Vision, topped their previous selling five million records and spawning "Hot Blooded", and title track "Double Vision". Their third album, Head Games, which was referred to by Gramm as their "grainiest" album, was also successful due to the thunderous "Dirty White Boy" and another title track hit "Head Games". For 1979's "Head Games," bassist Ed Gagliardi was replaced by Englishman Rick Wills. Following the tour to support the album, keyboardist Al Greenwood and co-founder Ian McDonald were sacked, and the band was stripped down to a quartet. Greenwood soon joined Gagliardi to form the AOR band SPYS with John Blanco, Billy Milne, and John DiGaudio. The band released two albums, a self-titled debut, and the follow-up "Behind Enemy Lines." The event saw hundreds of people pour onto the streets blocking traffic and voicing their outrage concerning the closure of such an important service. It was an emotional affair, it reminded me how lucky we are to be enjoying the freedom they have given us.

An official Save the Post Office Song inspired by a protest march that took place in East Runton.on the 3rd of May 2008. The event saw hundreds of people pour onto the streets blocking traffic and voicing their outrage concerning the closure of such an important service. The song 'Dads Army' was written with the elderly in mind whom proudly attended the historical protest march, some of them wearing war medals. It was an emotional affair, it reminded me how lucky we are to be enjoying the freedom they have given us. It was heart wrenching to see people in wheelchairs, that rely so much on the local post office, fighting to keep something that should respectfully be available to them. Norman Lamb MP from the Liberal democrat party delivered a speech I will never forget "We must speak as one voice throughout all political party's" said Mister Lamb "It's outrageous that this post office should be closed" Special thanks to Ashwood recording studios for giving their time to make this song possible.
