This is a talk I did in Washington DC at the AR2008 Conference. Warwak says there was nothing inappropriate about distributing information on veganism. He thinks it is inappropriate for the school to serve children recalled beef. Warwak says that with all the school shootings that happened and the climate of schools today, something has to change. He believes Humane Education is what's needed – that is what is missing in schools today. A l'appel du Collectif des fils et filles d'Africains déportés (Coffad) un cortège a quitté la place de la République en direction de la place de la Nation où, un spectacle vivant a été présenté. Au même moment, un autre cortège, à l’appel du Conseil représentatif des associations noires (Cran), à lui défilé de la place de la République à la place de la Bastille où, plusieurs personnalités comme la députée de Guyane Christiane Taubira, se sont joint à cette manifestation pour entendre diverses prises de parole. Au sein de ces deux cortèges, la foule à salué la mémoire du poète Aimé Césaire. Outre la persistance de discriminations, l’esclavage reste une réalité actuelle.
