WoW. Just WoW (pun intended). To tell you the truth, I ve been phenomenally occupied these last few weeks. First it was grad school stuff, then it was work getting progressively worse, then it was getting back on board with my creative/professional endeavors, then trying to keep my heart from stopping in the process. Anyway, sleep has since been had, so now I can finally get back to wrapping up our little Christmas series. This one is particularly close to my heart, as it was the first time I had seen my best friend Nic in almost two years. To be perfectly honest, I really dropped the ball on this one. This was one of the many things I was never-ever-in-a-million-YEARS going to tell my mother about, but since we were spending such a short time together over Christmas, I thought maybe it was time to fess up. So now that I ve finally got this one posted, the holidays have all come and gone. I won t spoil it for you all here, but the last few weeks have been both very comforting and therapeutic. Obviously, we’ve begun a trend of long pauses between posts. The last few weeks have been . . . a tad hectic, to say the least. The long and the short of it is that I ended up working myself into an illness. It seems that our little series has taken a slight detour into these one or two minute mini-episodes, though I suppose short and sweet beats the old 3-hour vacation slideshow theme. Still, I should make an effort next time to grab a little more footage than I m used to. Let me first say that as is the case with most sports, I suck at bowling. So, much to my disappointment, my video camera is still out of commission. The repair shop said it would be about ten days, which is really close to the wire if we re going to vlog about our climb up Mt. Fuji next week. More drastic measures may have to be taken . . . . Anyway, I ve been looking through some of the old posts from the old Myspace page and thought it might be interesting to showcase a few of them, especially for those of you newbies to our little series. This one was filmed last winter, so it still has the old titles and such. I could say it was a fan-favorite, but since we only had one fan at the time, I guess it doesn t really matter (thanks, mom).
