I think the trailer is just beautiful. Reminds me a bit of Wong Kar Wai "In the mood for Love" for the slow-mo and the light. And the fact it IS weird and dreamlike, and does not make sense is, I think, completely in synch with the show.

Jerry Zucker ... speaking at the vloggies... "this is going to change entertainment"
F*ck entertainment! Videoblogging is NOT about entertainment!
It's about video becoming a part of basic everday communication by the masses.
Not a tool of mass communication, but a tool of communications by the masses.
Alive in Bagdad cleaned house taking took 7 vloggies. Is that entertainment!? People in Bagdad's stories of death, torture, neighborhood watch with assault rifles? Their day in day out lives?
It reminds me of the old saying... everything looks like a nail when you've got a hammer.
Except videoblogging is the hammer and jerry zucker in his conciet thinks
Entertainment is not the highest cause of new media.
Videoblogging will be a powerful tool in politics, in art, in everyday interpersonal communications, in political and social change.
Viral video, entertainment, and so called clip culture is the least important aspect of videoblogging.
I don't begrudge the use of videoblogging for entertainment, but far from being the only use for videoblogging, it's the least original, least interesting, and least revolutionary use of videoblogging.
After 50-100 years of the high priests making illuminated manuscripts of this medium we now have the chance to do anything we want, to reach any audience we want. Why continue to make the same illuminated manuscripts... give me my pulp fiction, my free form poetry, my age of enlightenment, my beat generation, my trash romance... give me the trash, give me the high art.
Just don't tell me the videoblogging is going to change the industry for iluminated manuscripts. F8ck the illuminated manuscripts, and f*ck hollywood and entertainment.
Videoblogging is no more film or TV then blogging is news. To understand it's nature is to understand it is something completely new and profoundly different. It cannot be understood by the lense of what comes before it because it's rules and physics are completely different.
While I was generally pleased with the outcome of the vloggies it was apparent to me there is a tendency to view videoblogging clearly as a thing of simple entertainment, and that disturbs me. 2 years ago mmeiserpod liked the video: "zucker.mp4 (video/mp4 Object)"
