Mom's Brag Vlog

Some of you know that I work with video production at my church. It's always cool to see your work on the big screen... especially when your kids are in the video! Last night, the contemporary worship band had their annual "Come to the Cross" worship celebration. My friend and co-worker Patrick and I created this as a click track to go along with the song, and I thought it came out really nice! Of course, I'm probably a little biased... yes, that is Maddy in the video :) Formats available: iPod

Play in Quicktime When my Mom was visiting, she decided to set her camera up in our play room to catch some of Maddy's playing. This is what happened when Maddy discovered the camera.

Music: Turkish Delight - David Crowder Band We finally got around to importing the pictures from Jordan's Fisher Price camera. There were close to 700 pictures on there! Jordan and I sat down together and picked out some of them to include in this slideshow. She sat with me and watched while I put most of it together so this is our first real team effort. Quicktime | Flash OK, I had to post this. I just logged off from a silly iChat videoconferencing session with my family. My family lives pretty far away from us, so we use these kind of high tech ways to keep in touch. It's usually just my Mom and I, but tonight, Dad and my brother Steve joined in for a 3 way chat. Sorry for the poor video quality. I was recording at medium quality and I'll know better next time! See what silliness ensues. I promise, I was only drinking Pepsi :)

Quicktime | Flash Music courtesy of Podsafe Music Network East Side Bar - Josh Woodward Yesterday, was Jordan's birthday and we gave her a Fisher Price Kid-Tough Digital Camera. Everytime I get my camera out, Jordan wants to take pictures with it, but I'm a little protective of it because it's the only one I have. She took pictures with it for the rest of the day... and loved it. It definately isn't the best picture quality, but I wasn't really expecting it to be. The funniest thing was explaining to her that to her that she needed to take pictures of things that weren't moving so her pictures wouldn't turn out blurry. She got so frustrated when Maddy wouldn't stay still... finally understanding why I get so frustrated trying to get her to stay put! We were vacationing after Christmas in Myrtle Beach, and Maddy was having a pretend phone conversation with my brother (uncle Steve). They don't get to see him often, so I know this will mean a lot to him because I know he misses them. Maddy was upset with us for ordering her a funny face pancake instead of the chicken fingers she wanted. She tried so hard to stay mad... but couldn't quite maintain an angry expression. Quicktime | Flash As soon as we crawl out of bed.. this is what you would see at our house. With Jordan starting school in August... mornings are never going to be the same around here! Pretty soon, it will be a mad dash to get a lunch made, school bag packed and Jordan off to school. No more laid back mornings like this! I'm excited for Jordan to be starting school, but I will miss this too. As you can see, coffee and TV are a large part of our morning :P

I've taken a lot of video since Christmas, so instead of trying to put it all together into one huge edited project, I'll be sharing smaller clips of some of the fun moments we had over the holidays. nThat being said, this is a small clip of Charlie switching to "vacation mode". They had been enjoying listening to music with my Dad in the evenings. Something is weird with the compression... and I thought I had this down pat! I'm working on it :(n

OK, so I'm a member of the "Aroma of Coffee" webring and I've only mentioned my love for coffee in one post so far. Time to change that!
