Ever have one of those nights that turns out differently than you expected it to?

I suppose that right now is as good a time as any to get this off my chest... especially in light of recent events.

So things have been perplexingly normal since Aly moved in...and that's totally a good thing. Of course, this means I can now devote all of my attention toward stressing out about other stuff.

Not doing much these past few days has had consequences...and I've been doing some thinking.

To My Dearest Brother, I've finally settled into my new living situation. If anything, it sure beats staying at your place. xoxox, T PS. What's up with that Will Arnett-style voiceover? Are you secretly doing some side work to support your wife's expensive tastes?

I haven't felt so hot these past few days. I'm not even sure how it's possible, but sleeping too much has left me feeling really tired.

I've got way too much on my mind right now... I really hate it when life requires me to make a decision.

I got sidetracked by that drama earlier, and now I'm worried that the clinic won't be able to see me today. The sign on the door says that they'll be back soon, so I've been standing around trying to take my mind off things. So far, it's not working.

15OVER15: We've been here for an hour now, but still can't find the doorbell. Rachel's asking questions, and I don't blame her. I can't keep making up answers on the fly. Today's trip to the park was educational, to say the least. For Linc's sake, I hope that he knows how to take a hint.

I couldn't sleep, so I figured it was about time that I got started on this assignment. School work in the summer is just not right.

I was debating about whether or not to post this yesterday. I suppose I find reality a little less terrifying lately. I mean...at some point, we have to start accepting who we are, right? For better or worse, we can't change the past. We can only hope to influence our future to the greatest of our ability. But that's enough deep thought for the time being. I'm hitting up garage sales with Linc this afternoon and still need to walk the dog.

The other evening, a pleasant time was had by all. At least I think that was the case... That guy from the park turned out to be pretty cool.

So, it's been awhile. Back in So. Cal, after an extended visit home. I could hide there forever if it wasn't so boring... And that guy Linc? Nuts. No really. Nuts! Really.

As one issue resolves itself, another emerges. How's that for a melodramatic day?

Time was not on my side, so I had to split and figured out the rest of it. Been in LA all week dealing with this. Too much to explain, I don't even get it myself. Clearly I have a job to do.

So I guess that remaining undecided wasn't really an option. Talk about a difficult decision! I'm crossing my fingers on this one, but I think I made the right choice.

Walking my landlord's dog is a workout! We've bonded, but today she was unpredictable, as always. It was a good distraction, at least. No word on the test results yet. I took the first step, but my life's mission is to fear the worst case scenario!

So the other day, I didn't think it was a good idea to post this... but Aly has been encouraging me to express myself more--and well, this is a rare verbalization of my uncensored thoughts. And with my boss and his wife's dinner party tomorrow night, it's probably best to get such urges out of my system...

Am I going to regret this whole attempt at communicating my thoughts? Are some things too personal to talk about here? Where do we draw the line? After thinking about it last night, I think figuring that out for yourself is part of the assignment, so here goes nothing.
