We took a break in the evening to get a bite to eat and a few tequila shots. Barely time left today for a Videoblogging Week 2008 video, so here s a short taste from our dinner with fellow twitter friends Dave Toole (musicality), Eric Zimmerman (ezwrighter) and Chris Ritke (critke). Here is our third video for Videoblogging Week 2008 Technorati: videobloggingweek2008

Blogger Tag - 5 Things from Apperceptions on December 11, 2006 258 views / likes
OK, Josh Leo tagged me and so now it's my turn: 1. I was a cub scout. My friend Ronnie sent a letter to JFK, inviting him to our Blue One of his aids sent us a nice rejection note. Here's a picture. I think he went to Dallas instead. 2. I love working with ceramics, especially Raku. I used to build kilns. Here's a video of a piece I made back in high school. 3. When I was 12, my friends and I used to cut through the KonTiki Motel's parking lot on our bikes. Our parents told us never to do that. Once, when all the other kids cut through the lot, I went around the safe way. I got hit by a car. I received a small settlement. Through the miracle of compound interest, it grew to pay for one year of college. 4. I started out as a studio art major in college. Then I went into photography. Then psychology, then social-psychology and then mathematics. 5. I was thrown out of the boy scouts. Ok, now I gotta go find five people to tag: Dave, Alicia, Chris, Tyler and Bill.

Carp Caviar 2006 Promo Series: Uno Mas, Part II from Apperceptions on November 26, 2006 423 views / likes
Click the pic to view the vid. A brief musical interlude in our story. Or is it? Here is a small little piece that highlights all the fine folks who are participating in this wonderful collaboration. Of course, I'm way too lazy to edit this much video. So I programmed it. First, I used PHP to grab the text and images from Erik's site and then wrote a small composition in Quartz Composer to manipulate the data (as javascript arrays) into the exported movie you see. A quick trip to the Internet Archive for the lively Ole! spanish trance soundtrack, import into iMovie and viola! :) Question: What's the widest, collaborative web page in the world? See if you can find it and you will discover something really wonderful. How does it relate to Carp Caviar. Find the Bluesfear Worm and you will know. Formats available: Quicktime (.mov) Tags: carp caviar, spinflow, bottoom union, apperceptions, digital dojo
