Veoh-testing from bitlab malmo media cooperative on January 13, 2007 336 views
"Hands on" The universe of videoblogging and Internet TV is rapidly expanding and almost every expedition into this universe brings discoveries in new technology, services, shows or personalities. The universe is also maturing and has partly become an "industry". With an industry, the coverage of the industry follows. One example of such Internet-TV reporting is the interesting weekly programme Viral, which is produced by the videohosting/ social media company Veoh. The show consists of interviews and behind-the-scenes reporting about "The Internet-TV industry". Episode seven includes a wonderful interview by Viral's host Sunny Gault with the semi-fictional character Jerry from It's JerryTime! Sunny steps into the alternative world of Jerry... I signed up for an account at Veoh and, after having downloaded a small application to manage videos, I made a short film, which consists of a remix of the interview. The remix was made in iMovie and was uploaded as a quicktime movie. After a couple of minutes the file had been converted to flash and could be shared.

BlogCrunch from bitlab malmo media cooperative on January 10, 2007 339 views
Skimming through information muzak The amount of interesting IT-information is staggering and the inbox of my Bloglines account becomes regularly flooded. One escape route is to treat the blogposts as muzak and skim through thousands and thousands of posts, stopping only if a Web 2.0 logo is colourful enough. The documented skimming is of TechCrunch 20061027-20061204 and The Thicket 20061119-20061219. The soundtrack was ready-made.

Elektrischer Reporter from bitlab malmo media cooperative on January 03, 2007 324 views
Re-mix of episode 13 Elektrischer Reporter is a German series about Internet culture. Every episode includes an intervew wih a leading international (American) or German-speaking Internet personality. In episode 13, Lawrence Lessig was interviewed and since the show is licensed under the by-nc-sa licence, it was tempting to make a re-mix based on copyright issues. The original video is found at the website of Elektrischer Reporter.

Cats and Vadstena revisited from bitlab malmo media cooperative on December 28, 2006 291 views
Similarities between old and new posts The present video, Vadstena, is one of 42 films within the Scanian Journey 2006-2007 project. The project is redesigned and has a new URL: http://linneresor.se. The Swedish part is completed, but the English translation is still in progress. The Vadstena video is filmed at the same location as the first segment in last year's Driving South. The Runestone is to the left of the main entrenance. In this film, a cat entered the scene as surprisingly as in Waiting for Green Thing #9.
