Ahiranta is doing her arm workout today. All excercises done on the cable cross over machine except of the dips which she still can not do unsupported. Fat is slowly melting away showing the underlying muscles with their potential. Weight is now (december 2007) down to 13.10 stone, coming from 16.6 (August 2006) while gaining muscles at the same time. No dieet or special excercise program but purely done through having a healthy lifestyle in movement and food. Ahiranta asks herself while making choices in food, what is this food going to do for the health of this body. Same with movement. What is this movement, excercise, cardio going to do for this body in this moment of time. Ahirant has found that diversity is the key. All but in moderation. Cardio in variation. Not only in doing different cardio as Ahiranta does like boxing bag training, stationary biking, rowing machine, jog-sprinting, walking, but the way she does it makes a world of difference. For example, Ahiranta does a 20 minute bike cardio she splits this in 4 times 5 minutes and each 5th minute is done in giving it all to return in minute 1 almost stand still. This makes that the body does not get used, adjust to the cardio excercise. Food is choosen after observing the effect the food eaten had on the body. If it makes Ahiranta tired, slow, and drained she will stay away from it for awhile. This can be weeks, month's or a year. Than she tries it again and sees what effect it has. The body needs different foods at different times it is up to us to find out what fits, suits best in each moment instead of just stuffing our face because we THINK we are hungry, or we THINK it is time to eat. We need less, lots less, when we eat the right things at the right time. Ahiranta is doing her shoulder workout trying out new excercises. She is doing combination of weight resistance training and cardio interval training to tone her body back into shape after a long illness which made her gain over 5 stone in weight because of being bedbound for 5 years. Now she is well on her way getting back into shape and she will even accomplish looking better than before the illness started. Ahiranta is very strong focused and has learned through meditation to listen to the bodily needs which guided her out of the illness and will guide her where ever she decides she wants to go or how she wants the body to be shaped in the future. Weight training cardio and a healthy eating pattern has so far led to a weight loss of 3 stone while gaining muscle at the same time. Ahiranta is training her back today. With special attention to her lats. She is using excercises shown to her by Ozay at their home gym. Weight lose goes realy well. Today the scale showed under 14 stone while gaining muscles at the same time. Excellent result of a great lifestyle which made it possible for Ahiranta to return to health after a 7 year illness of which 5 years bedbound. Today is Chest workout day. Ahiranta doing her chest workout and some dips. Progress in gaining muscle and losing fat goes very well. No special dieet but normal healthy eating with good eye for the good fats, protein, veg, nuts and fruits. Many small meals a day instead of 3 big one's. Almost every day some cardio to bring the heart rate up. Mostly 20 minute sessions divided in 4 intervals of 5 minutes. This is done on stationary bike, rowing machine, sprinting or on the boxing bag. Ahiranta training her shoulders today. Her progress is going well. Body measurements are going down while weight stays the same. Body fat disappears almost infront of our eyes while musles are growing and getting stronger. Not bad for a woman who was 5 years in the bed during a 7 years illness of which the doctors only gave her a 2& chance of any form of recovery of symptoms. They did not even speak about total recovery which was unlikely in their statistics. Show that we can do much more if we really set our minds to it. Never give up!!!
