Takeshobo goes well, but they say they would like to hear what Shogakukan, another publisher with rights to some of the anime we showed in episode 1.0,　thinks about Anime 4 the LazyMan. With 'SC connections, Chi snags an appointment wtih Shogakukan, one of Japan's largest and oldest manga rights holders. Though Chi's friend & Elite(™) model Emi is there to translate... Things go badly from the start...

After calling Takeshobo from the payphone, Chi actually makes an appointment with the "Akagi" supervisor! Today, Chi goes to his appointment this first industry meeting alone...

Episode 1.01 is the first in a T.I. sub-series called Anime on the Street. This sub-series chronicles Chi's trials & tribulations as he tries to get permission to show pictures of other companies characters during the show. (This is necessary in an industry as small as the anime one. CHI sets off on a quest to get permission to remove the censors in ep. 1.0. First stop: Takeshobo Publishing, owners of "AKAGI."
