None of them taken it on as a cause to be reckoned with, instead they simply ignore it hoping it will go away.There was a time along time ago when such acts would have shocked the nation. Now we barely stop eating our breakfast long enough to shake our heads in despair. And then it's off to work and completely forgotten about. Again it is musical videos, video games, television and movies, and the way the news is reported we have become desensitised to violence. It is time for us to speak out and demand that politicians, and school administrators find some ways to ensure that our schools are safe havens for children. Children cannot learn in an atmosphere of fear.
