Eagle-eyed Joe Craine spotted a glaring error in the titles: TV Fakery 9/11 time cheats and contradictions (unfinished) At v2:36, the chopper is behind the north tower, not the south tower. South tower has just been demolished. This isn't finished but I thought I would upload it for people to take a look at. A lot of people were asking about the backwards helicopter and cop car, and they do look a lot better if you run them forward. Different elements of the scenes seem to run at different speeds, which isn't how the real world works, of course. One of the video fakery techniques used seems to be to take a tiny snippet of video, slow it down dramatically, and then add in some elements moving at a seemingly normal speed to create the illusion that the whole video is running at normal speed. In reality they're showing mostly still shots, but wobbling and jiggling the frame to create the illusion of camera movement, rotating the image back and forth, changing colors. They they overlay birds, helicopters, idiots blocking the camera, etc, in order to give the video a surprising or lively feel. The more you look, the more mickey-mouse most of the 9/11 videos appear. Not only do they not match each other, in many cases you can disqualify a video all by itself. For example, how can smoke stand still in part of the frame and billow rapidly in another? How can a collapse send a dust cloud chasing after people and yet appear to be a stationary cloud on other videos. Obviously it cant be both. It's pretty common to use flour bombs to simulate explosions. Did they take some high resolution footage of miniatures doused with flour and pass that off as the world trade center collapsing? Did they? Did they? Would wq2rx do something like that? They might. The real scene in NYC had paper everywhere. Steel girders were sticking out of adjacent buildings. Windows were blown out from an explosive blast. But a lot of the 9/11 'collapse' footage looks like a bunch of flour dumped on a miniature. They're obviously using a lot of color filters and changing the time on the video and overlaying fake helicopters and birds. Could they have used some simple old-school miniature techniques for some of these shots? I think they could have. The lighting is all wrong, the helicopter flying backwards scene looks like it was taken at night, it might just be some silly studio simulation.
