It is with deepest regret that we inform you that our Pastor of Music and Worship, Simeon Nix, has passed into the presence of God. Simeon suffered an apparent heart attack at around 11:45 p.m. Saturday, August 16th, and was transported to the Brandon Hospital. Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful and he passed away around 1:15 a.m. Sunday morning. We appreciate your concern for Beth and the children and request that you would lift them up in prayer during this difficult time. We ask that you please respect their privacy and do not attempt to contact them at this time.

Pastor Thomasson shares how Christians can "get connected" in meaningful ministry in the church, the body of Christ. He teaches truths from Acts 2:36-47.

Dr. Gary Frazier is our special guest preacher this Sunday morning. He will be preaching a powerful message out of Revelation on the end times entitled “R U Ready. Please join me in welcoming my dear friend Dr. Welch to the Bell shoals pulpit this morning. As a recon platoon leader in Vietnam, Bobby Welch was shot and given up for dead, at which time God miraculously intervened in a life changing way.

Welcome to the GRAND OPENING of our new Worship Center. We are so excited you could be here as we move in to this beautiful new house of prayer. Thank you to the many members of Bell Shoals who have given unselfishly and are still sacrificing weekly to support our building campaign. Because of your faithfulness, our church now has the room to grow and reach more people for Christ's Greater Glory.

Today is a bittersweet time as we look eagerly toward the Grand Opening of our new Worship Center next Sunday. It seems appropriate that on this last day in our beloved Worship Center we should welcome back to the Bell Shoals pulpit, Dr. Bob Reccord.

Today is Military Appreciation Sunday, as its our honor to welcome to the Bell Shoals pulpit LTC. Steve Russell (Ret). LTC. Russell will be sharing the thrilling story of the capture of Saddam Hussein in Iraq.
