GAS PUMP CREDIT CARD RIP OFF * An Investigative Report from DigElogROCORI on August 15, 2008 9 views / likes
*QUICKTIME *Phone In this story Duane Kuss, DigElog Network Creator, investigates a problem that could affect anybody that pays with a credit card at the gas pump. DigElog ROCORI was on location at the Holiday Station in Cold Spring to discuss an issue that was brought to our attention by the St. Cloud Police Department. Here's the document that was circulated on the internet by St. Cloud, MN Police. ********************************* Subject: Paying @ the pump This email is from the St. Cloud Police Department. Please read if you use your credit/debit card when purchasing gas at the pump!!!! With the price of gas and people getting desperate, this is likely to occur more often. A party used her credit/debit card to purchase gas at the pump. She received her receipt. However, when she checked her statement, there were two $50 charges added in addition to her purchase. Upon investigation, she found out that because she did not press the 'clear' button on the pump, the employee inside the store was able to use her card to purchase his/her own gas! To keep this from happening, after you get your receipt, you must press the 'CLEAR' button or your information will be stored until the next customer inserts their card. Have a good day. Joe Cordie St. Cloud Police Dept. Crime Prevention Unit/Crime Free Programs Coordinator Phone # 320-650-3681 Fax #320-650-3781 ********************************* In this investigative report you will hear from Holiday Station owner, Marlyne Molitor as she discusses how older gas pumps could leave you and your bank account vulnerable. Watch this story and learn how you can protect yourself.

It was the day Leroy was inducted into the Midwest Rock Country Hall of Fame, receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award. When you view this story you'll be immediately impressed by Leroy's pleasant and caring demeanor. This was a caring and loving man that truly enjoyed music and the people he played for. This story has been copied on numerous video distribution websites and based on our rough statistics it's been seen literally thousands of times online. We take great pride in publishing this story one more time in honor of this great man and the contribution he made to the world around him. We'll miss your music Leroy... and we'll miss you! Duane Kuss DigElog Network Publisher ************************************************* By BEN COHEN, Star Tribune Leroy Glazier entertained fans in the St. Cloud area for 40 years, playing traditional country-western and jazz. “His playing was so unique, clean and professional,” Nashville singer and recording artist Art Essery said. Glazier, 66, died of pancreatic cancer. The Sauk Rapids man was much loved by audiences and fellow players for his classic country-western tunes. Guitarist Leroy Glazier of Sauk Rapids, Minn., entertained fans of classic country-western music in the St. Cloud area for 40 years. Glazier, who had played gigs in the Midwest, the Southwest and Canada, died of pancreatic cancer on July 24 in St. Cloud. He was 66. The Bathurst, New Brunswick, native jammed with the likes of George Jones, Tommy Cash and Ray Pryce when their tours came to Minnesota.SEE TOTAL STAR TRIBUNE ARTICLE ************************************************* By Kevin Lange, published on Steel Guitar Forum This is a tough one for me. It may get a little long, for that I apoligize. My old friend Leroy Glazier and his family are having to deal with a struggle that nobody should ever have to go through. This past December, Leroy was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. After extensive surgery in January, the cancer was thought to be in a remissive state. Then in May of this year, Leroy found out that the cancer had returned to his pancreas and liver. As you can well imagine, Leroy and his family have experienced very high medical costs, and those costs will continue. So a benefit gathering has been planned for Sunday August 10th at Dusty's Bar LEROY GLAZIER BENEFIT . Sunday, August 10th, Dusty's Bar... east St. Cloud. The above is some information taken off the poster for the benefit, now let me add a personal comment. Leroy has lived, worked and performed in the central Minnesota area for almost 40 years. I have know him for close to 35 of those years, and a more generous man you will not find anywhere. He has always been willing to sit down with someone to pass on musical advice or information, or just visit for a while. Leroy Glazier is always one of the first to step up and donate his time and talents when they are needed, so now, how about we return to favor. I know many of you are familiar with Leroy's work from the Midwest Country Show on RFD-TV. Some of you like myself have been fortunate enough to enjoy his talents and personality in person on the same stage. Leroy does not have a computer, so if you would like, you can pass along any well wishes and comments on this post, I will print them off, and make sure Leroy gets to read them. Thank you in advance for your thoughts and prayers for Leroy and his family. Kevin Lange http://bb.steelguitarforum.com/index.php

"ON THE BANKS OF PLUM CREEK" * July 13, 2005 from DigElogROCORI on July 16, 2008 66 views / likes
*QUICKTIME *Phone It's now been over 3 years since Duane Kuss, creator/inventor/publisher of the DigElog Network began an experiment with publishing videos to an online blog. It was during the summer of 2005, Duane first created his own personal video blog called, My Stories Of Life Since that time the DigElog Network has published over 1,600 video stories online. This story has us joining the Kuss family as they embark on a visit to Walnut Grove, MN. The story is unique from a technical perspective in that Duane incorporates the use of video off of a digital still camera as a part of your Walnut Grove online experience. Even the footage you'll see here of the community play held each evening during the summer was captured using the same digital still camera. Here's how the story was titled back on July 13th, 2005 Laura Ingalls Wilder lived 1.5 miles north of Walnut Grove along the banks of Plum Creek from 1874 to 1876. Charles and Caroline Ingalls settled on the property in May 1874 declaring their intent to homestead it. Laura later in life would write a series of books that included, On the Banks of Plum Creek . Take a mini video journey back into the life and story of Laura Ingalls Wilder. My lovely wife Bette read the book to the rest of the family before we headed down to Walnut Grove and the Wilder Pageant . This became a wonderous step back in time for the entire family.

*QUICKTIME *Phone In this story you’ll hear from Chris Hoffman, a member of the Cold Spring Fire and Rescue Department. The Department made their annual trip to the Sauk Rapids Food Festival just across the river in hopes to repeat as waterball champions. It is similar to tug-o-war but with hoses. In this story you’ll also hear some news about the upcoming waterball competition during Hometown Pride Days as well as the Firefighters fundraiser concert at the Gluek Distribution Center. ROCORI City Update * July 9, 2008 from DigElogROCORI on July 09, 2008 60 views / likes
*QUICKTIME *Phone In this edition of the ROCORI Update, the three city administrators discuss some unique items that are going on in their respective towns. ROCKVILLE Rena Weber tells us about a new tactic that the Rockville City Council is employing to help cut down city spending. The City Council Packets are now online and you can view those packets @ www.rockvillecity.org. This was done in an effort to cut down on delivery spending (specifically gasoline) as well as move the city in a more “virtual” direction where as in the future, all city documents will be online. COLD SPRING Larry Lahr gives us an update on the Hometown Pride Days festival which is coming up at the end of this month. For more detailed information, look for the yellow flyers that feature times and locations for all of the events. Also, stay tuned to DigElog ROCORI as we will bring you more information as the 25th of July gets closer. RICHMOND Lastly, Dan Coughlin gives us an update about the waste water treatment plant in Richmond. There has been substantial work to help reduce the amount of cost and pollution at the treatment center, and we are pleased to say that the project has been a success. Thanks to all who were and who are continued to be involved with that effort. As always, stay tuned to DigElog ROCORI for all of your city update needs. ***********************THIS STORY IS SPONSORED BY...*************************** Click Here To Find Out More About The First National Bank Of Cold Spring
