Inventor of the Web talks about future of the Web
excellent to see Tim Berners-Lee back and active with the Web. I guess everyone is getting into social software nowadays!

Highlights of Photowalk with professional photographer Marc Silber
I really enjoyed having a chance to talk about two (I have more...) of my passions: Long Ridge Ranch where I grew up and photography. I put together an ebook that you can download free on my site www.silberstudios.com. Contact me with any help you might need with photography...

Utterz brings voice video to microblogging service
microblogging / microvlogging is a piece of the puzzle. It's not some new thing though. What we're doing is getting down to what makes blogging great. Simplicity, ubiquitous access, ease, ease, ease.

Somewhere between the utility, i.e. bookmarking, being able to maanage your videobloggins simplicity, simply being able to share a video with friends and discuss it.... there's a need for ubiquity and ease. It's no mystery that 99% of people online just go to google for search or youtube for video. It takes an extreme bit of presence like twitter to break through people's well beaten processes and paths to which they return time and again. All you have to do is deliver to them one great experience... and then another... and then another. :)

Dabble for Video
I found this much more interesting then the other interview with Mary.

http://mefeedia.com/entry/1763911/

Perhaps just because it's shorter, perhaps it's because I just find webservices more interesting then talking about VC.

Most interesting idea... friend's as filters. It's not just "my friends videos" or "my friends photos" like on Flickr. It's about my friends favorite videos... the stuff they're favoriting, tagging, commenting on. Flickr does NOT have this and it really should... come to think of it youtube.. and really noone has that.

Mefeedia, right here has the ability to see your friends favorites individually, but not in aggregate... and it's not just about favorites, it's about what they're commenting on and tagging too. Think of it as "what my friends find interesting".

Enough said.

Who's Hotter than Mary Hodder?
Loooong....

Most interesting: user programming, fly fishing example about half way through... niche markets and targeted advertising.

Least interesting: just loooong

Demo of Me.dium.com, follow your friends around Web
I'm not buying Me.dium.com - if the value proposition is to see what your friends are doing... The UI looks kinda geeky too.

Google Reader Demonstrated
It's the scary tasteless yellow sweater. Was an interesting screencast though.
