Will submitting an XML sitemap increase my pagerank? No, it will not. An XML sitemap has nothing to do with pagerank. Will submitting a sitemap get me out of the sandbox or supplemental index? No, it will not. Submitting a sitemap will not help you with either of these problems I've submitted a sitemap and may site is still not being fully crawled. Why? There could be other factors involved. Check your sites navigation. Make sure all your links are accessible and spiderable.
