Give Hilary's homemade freezer chocolate recipe a try: Heat 1 cup of coconut oil, Agave syrup till sweetened, and 1 cup of cacao powder. Chop 1 cup almonds and 1/2 cup candied ginger. Mix the almonds and ginger on some wax paper on a cookie sheet. Pour the chocolate mixture over it and make sure all of the almonds and ginger are coated. It's a recipe for a homemade natural insecticide for your garden. Fill a reusable spray bottle with tap water and 1/2 cup of liquid castille soap (like Dr. Bronners). Shake it up and spray in your garden to repel aphids and other nasty bugs. For a stronger solution, add 3 cloves of minced garlic and let it sit for 1 hour before spraying.
